We need more nodes.

But nobody know's how to setup a node.

I have a centOS server in germany.

have anybody a good instruction for install a new node?
Every time a block is mined, a certain amount of BTC (called the subsidy) is created out of thin air and given to the miner. The subsidy halves every four years and will reach 0 in about 130 years.

I recall there was someone who would setup a bitcoin node for you if you gave him ssh access.

What's so hard about setting up a bitcoin node?  Download and run the client with --maxconnections=500 or something..

you must run a bitcoin client that downloads the full chain (such as bitcoincore, qt etc) open some port..don't know exactly wich but search the forum..thats about it

AFAIK 0.9.1 might be broken for CentOS. 0.8.6 works.

I don't think this will be an issue running a node, though. Correct me if I'm wrong.
