Even in the event that an attacker gains more than 50% of the network's computational power, only transactions sent by the attacker could be reversed or double-spent. The network would not be destroyed.

It will get more "interesting" soon (next version).  Decentralized digital goods store will be launched soon that will work within the client

wow ppl are getting good deals at around 30 000 nxt a stake. As a stakeholder am i allowed to buy in on more nem this way?

I believe you can redeem 2 AE stakes for NEM stakes. So you can buy 1 more.

If there are things you like about Nxt, Im sure you will find that you will like NEM as well. They are different, and both crypto 2.0 tho
