There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

I don't bet and I don't watch soccer so I would be a double negative which according to my math teachers might make me a positive?

if you were betting, would it be a good idea to post about on an open forum? because, you know, it's not very legal.

I've got three teams in the WC but realistically only one of them will get past the first round. It will almost certainly be a south american country that wins but it may be worth an outside chance bet. It's really the only sports event I watch or know anything about. It would also be quite interesting to place a bet on how many english fans end up in prison.

Is it real 'gambling' if you play with a World Cup Pool and where you can only 'bet' with Bitcoins?
