from the first time leaked db from before a week ago?  and that is somehow surprising?

public list of 60000 email addresses of people who possibly have money and do trading in bitcoins, which sane spammer would not take advantage of it?  expect phishing attempts as well, be very careful not to click on anything, not to provide any personal info in replies, not to download and not to execute anything in those emails even if they look legit.

I have an email address that had never gotten a single piece of spam before the mt. gox breech. I've gotten 7 total spam since then, though 2 were duplicates so only 5 unique pieces. Of those 5, 4 were bitcoin specific - the remaining one was a scam or phishing attempt offering "2% loans". So while I have no doubt that list will make it into general purpose spam lists after a while, it doesn't seem to have quite yet.
