Well, don't you think it's a little to much to expect from us, non native English speakers, to satisfy all your grammar and vocabulary appetites?

I personally think it's a little too much to ask.

There's been a lot of posts which I've read and asked myself "what"?
There have been...

Seriously the amount of bad English I've seen on this forum is acting as my new reference. I used to put it down to English being their second language but it turned out that for most it was not. The amount of there their they're your you're yore yaw yore and apostrophe abuse here is obscene. That, along with numerous other grammar and spelling errors, like "alot" used to kill me, but I got over it a while ago.

How about a "grammar police" in the new forum software? With a preview button to see the before and after such an 'officer' intervened, with the changes being highlighted(this way we can know for sure the message wasn't manipulated in any way). The post would of course have a 'grammar flag' that will bring shame to the poster(maybe making some of them double check their post before hitting "Post").

My mind wanders at times, sorry Smiley.

as a native german speaker with poor english i would LOVE that feature Wink

Don't report people because of their bad English. Bitcoin is a global currency with no official language, and so should be these forums.

My enlgish is very bad as you see now, but I dont think you should report that, only when they are posting stuff that is not going with the topic should be reported.  I dont think its fair people learn english from time, and my number 1 language is english but I still suck at it, at times.  Sometimes I type to fast and make mistakes.

They unbuntulover is right, its not fair, dont be biased against others that lack the education to speak English, they are trying there best.

I agree, here. There is one exception, though, at least in my opinion. That is if the post is not comprehensible at all. Something like...
"The scammer aged ratted me against with forums yhset.

I think the problem are the people who spam many unnecessary posts daily in poor English. It's one thing if a user is after something that can't be found on their language sub-forum, but it's really annoying when they're posting in threads for no good reason.
