The first Las Vegas casino to accept Bitcoin has now installed an ATM to help customers fill their virtual wallets. The D Las Vegas Casino Hotel introduced its new Robocoin machine on Thursday. The kiosk allows customers to deposit cash into their Bitcoin wallets or exchange Bitcoin for dollars.

It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.

Could this influence the price, if a lot of people start gambling with BTC?  Smiley

People buying BTC to gamble online is Bullish, especially if the casino owners keep some of the profits and don't sell too much of their BTC.
'Early BTC elite' going to Vegas (for example) would seem to have a end result similar to them selling BTC.

Edit: The exposure is great, and it introduces more people to Bitcoin.

Our mega sports station, which has the biggest listener base in all of metro Detroit, constantly has ads on pushing The D Las Vegas by the major host on 97.1 The Ticket. Basically, because of the name they're trying to steer vacation planners from the Detroit area, like bachelor parties and such, to this place in Vegas. Probably not too far off, many of these places that take BTC will make note of it in their advertisements on air to stake out some more turf.
