New Snake update coming soon. Change log Improved wall and snake glow. Improved coin spawning randomness. Don't forget playing snake daily will earn you extra HYPER each time played. The max daily play bonus is 30%. I also slightly increased the payout rate and I increased bonus for scoring high. EDIT: The game is really hard now, most foods appear at the wall or in the corner and the speed gets up so fast, its almost impossible now to reach 300 points. Do i complain?Hell no. Ok, just a little bit. Probably before the end of this week. I need to finish some coding for it and buy some GP. Hehe good it is harder now. I'm messing with the difficulty. The more points you get the more often they will spawn near walls. Is it too hard now? Should I make it easier? Difficulty is good and it pushes the necessity to practice in order to win the future leaderboards. If one person can get 100 points, everyone else can too. So it's fine. Yeah true. |

I would support this, a good fix would be cool. Right now it tends to take a lot of my CPU and RAM and it takes ages to open also, something that does not happen to any other wallet that i have on my laptop. Looking forward to the Big news that is coming soon! I have been buying back some HYPER because i got a feeling that once the MMO launches the price will go up, a nice move up will be coming. Same for GP it seems  |

I would support this, a good fix would be cool. Same for GP it seems Remember HYPER is almost 2 years old, so a lot of newer released coins have low RAM use etc built into them. This is the top priority to be fixed in the next wallet update to be released within 3-6 months (3 months at the earliest and 6 at the latest)." EDIT: There is also a bounty for a light Electrum style wallet for HYPER. If anyone is interested please PM me! This bounty has been open for almost 2 years now and still no one has stepped up to the plate.Oh and thank you for the support edmundduke! Yes, I am making sure 2016 will be huge for both HYPER and GP. There is a lot more happening behind the scenes that I can't reveal yet as well. |

There are a couple of awesome HYPER projects launching in 1-2 weeks myself and a few others are working on, aimed at growing the ecosystem substantially, and also market making, increasing trading volume and such.
Will make more announcements soon, when the projects are launched / closer to launch.

I have put a bit more thought into the HYPER wallet RAM usage and here are some steps you can take to reduce it:
BEFORE DOING ANY OF THE BELOW TAKE A BACKUP OF YOUR WALLET.DAT!!
Before you begin make sure you are running wallet version 1.5.3.2 from here: https://github.com/palmd/Hyper/releases BACK UP YOUR WALLET.DAT BEFORE UPGRADING
1.) Now, to decrease the wallets RAM / CPU usage. Firstly BACK UP YOUR WALLET.DAT!, then go to settings -> repair wallet (or just type in repairwallet in the console). Then just wait and let the wallet do its thing. It might take up to half an hour depending on the speed of your computer. This will remove all orphans from your attempted staking in your wallet, which lightens the load on your computer (especially as HYPER stakes / attempts to stake so often with the fast block speeds). DO NOT CLOSE THE WALLET WHILE IT IS RUNNING REPAIR WALLET. BE PATIENT AND WAIT FOR IT TO REMOVE ALL ORPHANS FROM YOUR WALLET. IF YOU HAVE NEVER DONE THIS BEFORE IT MIGHT TAKE SOME TIME AS THERE MAY BE A LOT OF ORPHANS TO BE REMOVED.
WHEN REPAIR WALLET IS COMPLETE YOU WILL SEE A MESSAGE SAYING HOW MANY ORPHANS HAVE BEEN REMOVED. IT CAN TAKE A WHILE, JUST LEAVE IT AND LET IT RUN.
Now you can enjoy your HYPER wallet using less RAM / CPU use Even if RAM usage is not reduced you will notice the wallet runs better. Your wallet will also open much faster in future.
2.) If you really want to keep your HYPER wallet running optimally, run repair wallet above once a week or so
3.) You can leave the HYPER wallet running to keep your blockchain up to date, but stop the HYPER wallet from staking, and just open it for staking once a day or so. You can even just open it for staking once a month or so (you will still get all coins owed to you for your 5% monthly interest).
4.) If you want to get serious, and for maximum security of your coins, you can buy a dedicated USB HYPER staking machine from: http://stakebox.com Then you can happily stake 24/7, with no load on your main rig, and with good security (while also running a node to help the HYPER network).
5.) Bounty is still open for a light Electrum style HYPER wallet. Please spread the word or if YOU want to claim this bounty please PM me!
6.) Next wallet update in 3-6 months will update HYPER with upstream code base to also reduce RAM usage (stop orphans being generated and many other fixes). I am also looking into other new blockchain technologies HYPER may be used with in the future.

Maybe in 1 or 2 updates I will add it . A bug fix update is going to be released soon. Maybe update after that will have it Edit: Snake will be temporary unavailable while I update it.
