Excited to see another audio guy on here.  I don't know how much of the thread you've read.  I'm working on trying to get some demo voice work done.  What platform are you on?  Do you have gear to master?  I'm working on getting a recording of my father done as a narrative demo.  I can see his voice being like a story teller. Some other members on here had given me some script ideas.  This is my dad's voice. I've only amplified what resulted from the mic. Nothing else.
In the end it's really not up to me what gets used for the MMO.  I'm just supplying what I can...This is my Dad and I think he's got a great narrative voice.  He has access to studio mics down the road if we need em.  I'll ask you what you recommend for a USB plug and play mic for now?  This mic was and Audio Technica USB Dynamic Cardoid. I like their AT2020 Condenser for low end stuff....but whatever. 

I have to set him up over Teamviewer to record because he doesn't know how to do it. He's always had a producer...lol

Pay attention to the HYPER bumper at the end of the file too...That's an easy 10 second section we could isolate for the videos.  I like his voice better than mine.

But whatever. I like all of it...of course I'm partial. 

I'm at a loss of words. That was amazing. Seriously. Definitely have my vote for narration, .

I currently am the guy thats going to do the creation of sprites, coding (Python 2), etc, until we get more people on board for those jobs.

That's why I posted my earlier inquiry as per the base game/starter mechanics

Regarding voice acting, I have no script written out yet, but sure, give it a shot if you'd like. I'll also be getting other voice actors for the female/epic georgian accents also

This is really good! I'm as amazed as ranlo is. It's a very soothing, deep, and clear voice that could work really well for the HYPER MMO as a commander, narrator, or something with a similar role.

The devs are impressed. That's awesome.  Try pulling what you like and put your macros to work for a variety of flavors.

This is just demo time. I can "produce" my dad.  Just look at how the tail end with the "Welcome to Hyper" messages changed from one to the next.

He'll want direction and that man can truly voice act multiple roles for this.  I can too...but really I think whatever you do to his voice to add depth for a straight up narrator treatment is great.

Again, Are you ok with this mic?  I'm not...I want him to be in at LEAST minimum a condenser cardioid even if it's plug and play USB.  This shit was a $60 freakin' AT dynamic mic.

The man in a proper german mic with a real tube pre is devastating.

Try making a trailer script.
We can do more work with that.

Not sure. Hyperzanda is being worked on, but HYPERfuture would know more about when exactly it will come around.

Story
