Hi, I am wondering what are these small transactions of 0.00000001 on my wallet? I am using multibit and i saw somwhere that this is somekind of bug..not sure.

Bitcoin addresses contain a checksum, so it is very unlikely that mistyping an address will cause you to lose money.

have u looked on blockchain.info to see if they're advertising spam?

the tx's are prob tagged with some type of spam

i.e. www.BitcoinCasino.com - sign up! etc

I see it is some kind of spam, because it is a really zero transation..i think 0.00000001 is one satoshi , but not sure why i am receiving it so much times..
Any one else with some answer?

As I write this people with unknown motivations are raining down tiny little payments on old addresses, presumably in an effort to get wallets to consume them and create evidence of common address ownership.

I think this must be improved, urgently.

The tiny transactions are a bit like spam and they don't confirm.
If you upgrade to the most recent MultiBit they should disappear from your wallet.

The tiny transactions are a bit like spam and they don't confirm.

This is false. As long as you keep your mulitibit.wallet file, you won't lose any money.

Where did you read such a claim?

An economy based on endless growth is unsustainable.
