you can pick up if in chicago.

Take a look at this review from pocketables.
http://www.pocketables.net/2009/05/review-umid-mbook-m1.html
Also check their forums, its the only community that supports this device, check them out, they have a bit of mods you can perform on this.

I bought this from dynamism.com in 2009 in around July or August. I didn't get to use it as much as I wanted to. A simple overview of the specs are: Windows XP, 1.3GHz Atom, 512MB RAM, 16GB SSD, webcam. Asking for around $300, half of what I originally bought it for.

Its a fun little device. You won't be able to touch type, you will have to use your thumbs. Its capable of playing some games like StarCraft 1 and some older games and emulators. Sorry, no Crysis. I believe it has a tough time sometimes connecting to WiFi if it is too far away, but I haven't messed around the the new drivers. But if you pair this device with a portable hotspot it should work perfect. AFAIK this is the only free portable Hulu solution.

Heres what I will be shipped to you.
1x UMID mbook M1
1x  Original Stylus (inside the mbook)
1x 3.5mm adapter (and some other obscure connection, google it) (this is from the korean version, which is why its white)
1x mini USB to full sized USB adapter (from the korean product I had before)
1x Original Black Battery
2x Original White battery (I had from another one)
1x Original Leather Case (you can keep it on while using it)
1x Original Carrying Bag
1x Orginal Carrying Bag (from the korean version)

I will restore the original drive image and can send it to you over the internet. It was made with Acronis True Image.

Notice the screen is not broken. Its the protector that came with it in shipping, I just had a horrible time cutting off the excess tabs that help you take it off.

Heres everything it comes with, no, you don't get my lens cap. Also note that the second bag isn't shown. its a pretty shitty bag, I would just use to hold the extra batteries and adapters.

the leather case.

Sorry for the shitty pictures, PM if interested.

Looks like a lot of fun. Does this come with a sticker for Windows XP MCE?

the pictures were taken using tinyxp. the sticker on the back is for XP Home Edition ULCPC which is what I will flash the SSD to before shipping. Also willing to use escrow.
