so what pool do you recommend?

btw, ghash.io has an even worse problem than I though. When slush lost connection if failed back to ghash.io and my bfgminer stopped working = there is something completely wrong with their stratum server. I'm pretty sure they are DDoSing themselves.

Is just said "ghash.io not replying" and "switching back to pool 0" (slush) but then nothing...
You need third one for backup then Wink
Choosing a pool for me is an act of trust.
I will not recommend any Chinese pool because i do not trust them.
the choice is yours at the end

Can anyone suggest me a pool to mine at? Preferably a service similar to Cex.io/Ghash.io where I can also buy cloud mining?

MFW BTCGuild has a higher hash rate than GHash.io, presently.

Any other pools out there that allow percentage distributions to various accounts ?

EDIT: Remember a time when there was so much concern about GHash.io 51%'ing the network ? Oh how the mighty have fallen...

I do on a hash rate basis - i.e. if you have a large enough hash rate, I have an option in ckdb to enable that.
One of the top miners on my pool uses it already.
PM me if you are interested.

You can't be bought off by anyone? Shut, here goes my plan to bribe you with the comic book "The Deliquents #1" as an attempt to take over Bitcoin as a whole :-)

That's all it was ever, just a bunch of talk and worried people. Hell, the paranoid talked constantly about a "takeover" for months and nothing ever happened. Once the paranoia sets in and you have that mindset you just can't relax.

I tried late last night and they still are having issues. Amazingly a lot more users have joined back in because they are up to 19PH now. But you are correct, I can't get a constant hash rate out of them now at all.

Anyone from Ghash.io reading this able to comment on what's going on ?

I'm about ready to take my ball, and hang out in another playground for a bit at this rate.

I had something similar happen once (with a different pool), and it was actually a problem on my end - wifi interference. Have you tried splitting half your hashes to another pool to see if the downtime is at your end?

Heh people forget Smiley
GHash.io had attempts at double spending using the pool.
When the pool that at one stage is the largest, has had something like that happen, it is indeed worth concern.

It's not wifi interference on my end. Half the systems are hard-wired, and the other half are wireless. When the ghash.io connection breaks, the miners have no issue connecting to the backup pool.

I'm running slush as primary and f2pool as secondary. Fingers crossed!

I think ghash has updated it's stratum system and it's broken. You should probably switch.

The last withdrawal trouble was the last nail to my casket. They've had lots of troubles with mining lately (getting 0GH/s on my miners, DDOS's, cex.io withdrawal troubles etc.) and I'll be moving to a new pool once I get to my miners in a few days. Propably Antpool

You'd better choose another pool. It seems like AntPool has also some troubles with their "payout": https://forum.bitmain.com/bbs/topics/1303
I switched to https://eclipsemc.com after cex missed some payouts and AntPool also fucked it up. If everything fails, I'll go back to slush, my first pool ever.

I didn't have payout problems at this pool but I had very bad luck. Either when mining LTC or BTC. So I stopped using it. No idea why they are so big.
