Also, I had to use Display Driver Uninstaller from Guru3D to dislodge this driver from my PC.  Simply uninstalling it and re-installing 14.4 did not replace the OpenCL file with the 14.4 version, so I still had HW rejects.  This is fairly typical of AMD drivers though.

Same problem here, 4,1 Mh/s but 0 WU + HW. I'm running Ubuntu 14.04 + Catalys 14.6. Girino mod work fine.

After moving to 14.6 got an error starting sgminer saying my TC was too high.  Worked fine on 14.4.  Deleted bin, same error.  Decreased TC a bit, it started but all HW errors.  Going back to 14.4.  This is on reference R9 290 cards.

Same results for me, AMD has done a number on their drivers when it comes to mining.

When i last looked at it it seemed that I couldn't over/under clock the card with the new drivers. Maybe sgminer is not able to change the card settings or something resulting in incorrect TC and only HW errors?

It's been at least a week or so now, is 13.12 still the definitive driver revision all things considered or should I wait for the next Catalyst release?

For scrypt 13.12 is best for me. x11 I've found 14.4 to be the best.

I can confirm that catalyst 14.6 beta increases hashrate on x11mod from 3.1 to 3.7 HOWEVER I am getting absolutely no shares accepted.  Going back to 14.4.

EDIT: 14.4 working fine with x11mod.  14.6 beta breaks something in x11mod.cl (darkcoin.cl works on 14.6)

I used DDU to get rid of 14.6.  I fought x11mod for a day trying to get it going on 14.6 LOL.

Clearly the problem is with the new OpenCL implementation as I had to delete all the *.bin files generated with 14.6 to get 14.4 working again ...

Does anyone know what the diff is between x11mod.cl and darkcoin.cl?  ... What is broken in it that 14.6 fails with x11mod?  When I open these files in notepad on winblowz I get a mess without newlines so I'll not mess with trying to find problem LOL.
These files must have been created on a Linux box LOL.  Anyone want to fix so Winblowz readable? HAHA

Dang I installed 14.6 and the first thing I mined was a Grosetl coin. It works good for that I can confirm but x11 only HW errors.
