Can anyone suggest a good, paying signature program for a Jr member like me? Is Scratchticket the only one? I searched "Service" part of the forum and looked at other Jr Members and do not see a lot of programs, geared towards new people. We feel a bit left out in the cold. Thanks for any response.

AFAIK, scratchticket is the only one accepting jr members and newbies. You could find more choices and have much higher pay when you reach member status.

What that post showed me, was that there is only 1 signature program cattering for "newbies" and "Jr Members"
Do these people have no voice? Or do their voice carry no value?
I have seen many "newbies" and "Jr members" giving very good advice on this forum, and they not getting rewarded.
Should there not be a incentive for "new" people to join this forum? {Forum moderators can simply delete spam}
Now do not bite my head off, I have a right to my opinion.

Signature campaigns are not created by the mods, but by people who wish to advertise their websites and/or services. They are the ones who decide whether your "voice" matters or not. There are good reasons why they do not place a high value on the participation of newly joined forum members though. - New accounts can easily be created. If someone gets disqualified or ejected from a signature campaign, the campaign runners want to ensure that they minimize the possibility of that same person getting accepted again under false pretenses. - A signature campaign's effectiveness is increased if the only content on a participant's signature is a referral link to the website and/or service associated with that campaign. As such, they require participants to only carry their campaign's links on their signatures. Allowing new members to join increases the possibility of one member "farming" all high-paying signature campaigns, thereby diluting the effectiveness of a single campaign relying on such tactics. - Spam can indeed be deleted by mods. However, just because they can doesn't mean that spammers won't try to get past them. Even with the current restrictions, spammers are still trying to game their post count in order to participate in high-paying signature campaigns. You don't tempt the devil, plain and simple. As for an "incentive" for people to join the forum, it is the same as with any forum. You join in order to participate in discussions. The signature campaigns have nothing to do with the forum, so their runners have no reason to bait new people into joining the forum.

Back when I signed up to these forums anyone could sign up to a sig deal, all you needed was ten posts (I think?) to have a link in your signature, but it was changed about three months ago or so. It's not that newbs don't have a voice or anything valid to say but that their signature size/noticability is now severely restricted.

Surely if you create a Signature program, and newbies and Jr Member get like 20 Satoshi for a post. It will not be profitable to create a account to just gain from that?
But give the new guys a taste of it, and also exposure, to encourage them to contribute more.
Spammers can easily be spotted and be banned or deleted. {Or is this to much work?}
I am not here to gain money, I am here because I can see what a massive thing "Bitcoins" are going to be in my country, when this takes off. And I want to be in the front row, when this happens.
We are still in the dark age, when it comes to "Crypto Currencies"
Getting paid to reach that goal, is a added bonus now.
And this forum is there to inform and educate newbies to. Why not give them freebies, and expose them to the currency.

Well thems just the rules now. You could always suggest changes to them in meta, but I doubt they'll be changed back. There's always going to be people who take advantage of the deals and spam, but unfortunately the majority of it was coming mostly from newbs and the rules were changed because of it. It doesn't take that long to get to Member status anyway so if they stick around and get to grips with the forum then they'll be able to participate in a deal within a few months.

There is a pretty big gap between Jr Member/Member and Member/Full Member. It's annoying when you are a genuine poster, but I imagine it deters a lot of spam simply by forcing people to put in real time to achieve higher forum rankings, rather than simply posting.

Yeah, I think it's actually a decent system. Sure, it's a hassle, but if you really want to become part of the community here, a few weeks will fly by like nothing. On the other hand, if a spammer has to wait like, what, 8 weeks, to become a "member" and get a paid advertising gig, that's an effective deterrent.

As I have already mentioned, the signature campaigns are not run by the forum staff members but by third parties. You can always contact one of them about implementing a lower tier payment program for newbies -- as long as it does not violate any forum rules -- if it really mattered to you. In the end, they are the ones who are spending Bitcoins to pay for the signature campaigns, and they will be the ones to determine if the Bitcoins that they will spend are worth what they are spending it on.

What do you mean by 'do' exactly? How to pass the time or earn whilst you wait? There's no way you can speed up the process so I'd just contribute as normal and make sure you have enough posts to get the activity points per fortnight. If you want to earn some coins you could try sell some things on the Marketplace here or offer your services in the Services section.

Pointless to have a signature campaign for Jr due to the fact that it is easy to attain that status and you can see that scratchcard campaign pays you a tiny amount. Much better to achieve member status when the reward per post is almost worth it.

To be honest, if I was operating a signature campaign I wouldn't even accept Members as their links are so small and this will obviously have a big impact on the traffic they generate. I think bitmixer is the only deal to accept only Snr/Hero though but that's largely because of their fancy sig design that only works with them.

Things to do while you wait.
READ READ READ everything {I spend hours reading everything, I can on this forum} I also "Google" topics not covered, here. {Must say, not a lot out there}
I view A LOT of video's on Youtube.
And spend a lot of time on links posted here and other sites.
I am hungry for "Bitcoin" knowledge.
Soon I will be able to contribute a lot more, than what I offer now.
From what I see now, my questions, help other "newbies" too.

The signature campaigns have nothing to do with the forum, so their runners have no reason to bait new people into joining the forum. And one more reason is that when you reach a higher rank, you can make your sig looks "fancier" and get more attention. Perhaps the allowed signature styling should change with activity score / membergroup. Like: - Newbie: No styling (including links) allowed. Max 40 characters. - Jr. Member: Links allowed. Max 100 characters. - Member: Unlimited length. - Full: Color allowed. - Sr. Member: Size allowed - Hero: Background color allowed
This is done, except that Newbies can use 50 characters and Jr. Members can use 150 characters. The style limitations are applied immediately, but the size limitations only apply when a signature is updated. Tell me if there are problems.

Alt coin giveaways aren't allowed now unless they're off-site ones. Most of the coins that are gave away or air-dropped for free will never be worth anything anyway. It's just a cheap advertising gimmick to try get people involved.

OP: there are no signature programs for Jr Member. however, one option that some people take is to buy a forum account to immediately reap the rewards of signature advertising. the account can usually pay for itself in a week or two. you can find forum accounts for sale in the digital goods forum: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=93.0

yeah i mean off-site ones, not giveaway directly in BTT if you apply fast and get your free coin faster, then sold when hit bigger exchanger that would be worth, i tried last month. 1 shares worth 0.1 BTC i need 133 posts to get that amount when use my existing signature campaign but i agree with, that was cheap advertising gimmick, so i don't buy that coin too bad almost no one offer signature campaign for jr.member Scratchticket only give you a few satoshi (21k satoshi) but you can play in their site and if you lucky, you can get more satoshi wait for 1 month and you'll become member, and then join profitable signature campaign and you maybe ask me, what should i do now, i'm still jr. member? i recommend you to join free distribution or giveaway in alt-coin section

They shouldn't have lurked then and joined in. Not that difficult to make 14 posts a fortnight to get your activity points. I'm sure many users just log in to do the minimum posts then bugger off till the next period to build up their accounts. I think this is probably what the people do who are selling accounts in the marketplace.

I think I will earn it the hard way. Spending hour on hour reading up on everything to do with Digital currency. Would be more rewarding to accomplish full member, with creative and positive contributions. Just thought I would point to the fact that there are some opportunities for companies, to cash in on "cheap" signature options for "Newbies" and "Jr Members" After all, the more people post, the more advertisement these guys get.

i think they figure the reward is low because newbies can't have links and both are subject to very short signatures. and they don't want their business associated with spam. so they want people who have stuck around posting on the forum for quite some time (without getting banned )

Do people auction off their Jr.Member sig`s on the auction thread?
This is what I plan on doing, if I cant participate while I wait to be a member.

There have been auctions for selling signatures in the past but most get very little and you're unlikely to get much being a Jnr Member but it can't hurt to try I suppose. People occasionally try sell them for cash advances too buy they almost never sell or when they do it's again for very little, mainly because there's no guarantee that you'll actually make the posts once you get the money, unless you use an escrow.

This will never work. Nobody is going to buy a JR. members sig, apart from Bitcoin Scatchticket that's available, however they don't buy them off auctions. Wait till you're a member, and get one of the ones in the Service section of the forum. Read through their terms, don't spam, get paid.

It may work sometimes, as in the following post, but it seems OP of that thread is not happy with the pay rate. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=629215.msg7001360#msg7001360

In fact, you'll probably waste quite a bit of time quibbling over mBTC that hardly anyone wants to pay out. Just wait until you have some activity under your belt.

What that post showed me, was that there is only 1 signature program cattering for "newbies" and "Jr Members"
Do these people have no voice? Or do their voice carry no value?
I have seen many "newbies" and "Jr members" giving very good advice on this forum, and they not getting rewarded.
Should there not be a incentive for "new" people to join this forum? {Forum moderators can simply delete spam}
Now do not bite my head off, I have a right to my opinion.
Newbies and Jr. Members are regarded to be less experienced. Members and above are assumed to know a little bit more about Bitcoin and as a result have a greater chance that they write something that a lot of other members read.

More importantly, it is an issue of spam. Newbies and Jr Members (especially Newbies) tend to spam much, much more than longtime members. They spam links, get banned, create a new account... rinse and repeat.

Although their amount of posts might not be a lot higher the quality tends to suck.

i think its a scam but then to OP your only option is the scratch ticket they are offering a reasonable payout weekly for 25 post you can stick with their campaign until you get into a member status and atleast earn while you are keep on posting just dont go after the rates because its better than nothing

My money is on no one getting paid.

In around two activity periods , you will be a member and will be able to earn a larger amount per post. Till then , it would be best if you stick around with scratch-ticket or stay free from signature campaigns as the amount till then will be negligible

Yep, it's just a shame that Jr members can't take full advantage of their signatures.

I woulda thunk you were old enough to be confident that technology DOES improve. In fits and starts, but over the long term it definitely gets better.

could be worse. looks like you'll be a member in less than 2 weeks, so you'll be able to get in on a signature campaign pretty soon from the looks of it.

Can anyone suggest a good, paying signature program for a Jr member like me? Is Scratchticket the only one? I searched "Service" part of the forum and looked at other Jr Members and do not see a lot of programs, geared towards new people. We feel a bit left out in the cold. Thanks for any response. There is one sig campaign for Newbie and Jr members, however it is a ponzi and you should probably not participate. You should understand that Newbies are generally considered to spam a lot and this is not what advertisers are looking for.

Not anymore, this company offers 0.0005/post for Jr. Member, and they're on process to dealing with escrow! https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=645147.0
