There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

Twenty years seems very long. I believe it will be much faster - unless he meant "internet years".

It was nice to see him reveal some of the startups in Silicon Valley around the BTC ecosystem. Lots of those folks are gonna be richer before us average coiners will but they will likely have a nice stack to pour into Rand Paul's Presidential run at the right time. This is looking like the tech buildup in the 90s but it's likely that there's plenty of staying power in this one rather than a bust longer term. Just updated innovation to keep mankind evolving back into a more free market. So, work Marc.

This is my bullish outlook on crypto

For all who can remember the early nineties .... www is more than 20 years old now and still growing.
