Due to recent news the IPO will be frozen until SEC papers are properly filed. We will not accept ANY BTC until proper paperwork is acquired and public.
Why an IPO?IPO is a great way to help set a base exchange rate, aswell as distribute coins to investors quickly. This gives a chance for early investors both in the IPO and in the market to get there hands on some Bit-X. Also putting a coin directly on cryptsy after launch will spark huge interest.
The IPO will be handled in waves: The first wave will pay for final development costs (which includes advertisement, final windows wallet development, faucet, block explorer, apple app, android app, mac wallet, reddit and IRC tipbot + much much more).
The second wave will be strictly for the cryptsy vote (currently about 4.5 BTC required to be #1 on vote) and the mintpal vote (currently about 19 BTC)
Both the first and second wave will be capped at 25BTCThe third and final wave will be a set time limit with no cap that will be used for future developments. (IPO will be closed about 48 hours prior to launch)
The first wave will contain 50% of total IPO, The second wave will contain 30% of IPO and the final wave will contain 20% of IPO. Early investors get more for offering there trust for longer.

Working currently on the BitX Safe-Pay system. We will be releasing a website very similar to coinbase. This website will be setup with a PoF system (Proof of Funds) that we are working on that will verify your fund availability and give faster payments for online transactions.
We also have a merchandiser prepared to create all sorts of BitX Gear. We will need a solid coin design and the "Dummy BitX" website complete prior to starting the process. What is "Dummy BitX"? This is a project working along-side BitX to help promote to outside users un-related to the crypto-world. It will start with a simple website that will be to the best of our ability "Dummy-Proof". It will explain everything from start to finish about crypto-currency and how to get started. It will also feature a new GUI miner that will simplify X-13 mining. We will then do everything we can to market this website. We will be holding rally's here in the Pacific NW and we would hope many of you join in across the globe!
