Good luck then - I have no issues with LTC, PPC, NMC or any alt.
I don't mind if BTC will be the only one someday too nor if another one will take it's place.

I am here to use these coins to make more USD - some of these coins have their uses and I will use them (Ripple is fast, NXT has the Asset Exchange, an anonymous coin is always useful etc.)

Still haven't seen the coin that I will BELIEVE in it.

But I dare to say that I am more open minded for exactly the reasons I mentioned and don't have illusions about any coin.

Easy come easy go for all of them...

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

I no longer hold any altcoin. I sold all my LTC and PPC (not that much) on their peak 5/6 months ago. (and the little NMC I had way before that).

Nobody knows for certain what will happen. At least you have a nice profit and a stash of half your coins in case they do go up sometime.

Easy come easy go for all of them...

“It is natural for man to indulge in the illusions of hope. We are apt to shut our eyes against a painful truth, and listen to the song of that siren till she transforms us into beasts... For my part, whatever anguish of spirit it may cost, I am willing to know the whole truth, to know the worst, and to provide for it.”

Not a single decentralized currency will succeed. Case one: THE currency "succeed" until its widely enough accepted/inflated and governments realize they have no choice than to forbid. After this, people realize why we need inflation (on commodities) and deflationary currency. Case two: its never going to be mass adopted because the lack of trust in decentralization. Case three: quantum computing ruins everything sooner than we wish.

Winners realize its all illusion before the siren goes off, probably somewhere around 2050, and already have enough basic knowledge to understand each and every investment in new VC is just a gamble.

PoS coins cannot be decentralized. Early investors/exchanges who sold can always produce an alternate chain with their sold stake and reverse the chain. PoS cannot be decentralized. Dont get caught by hype. Qora is the new hype now.. Wonder when it will stop...

If I really believe in the value of a coin I sell 50% of it for the profit and keep the other 50% for the long-term. For other coins I do opportunistic trading only.
