People constantly find new ways to increase their wealth. The newest way to increase your wealth:
1. Create a regular POW-POS VC with xxx amount coins available (best keep it vague like > 16 - 33 mil). 2. Collaborate together with another VC, likely near the same, discuss which will be runner-up. 3. Create fuss around the runner-up and make some money. 4. While the runner-up receives all attention, the price of "winner" will decrease and you buy as much as you can. 5. When its time, eliminate runner-up. 6. Start creating fuss around the "winner" and re-adjust the final amount of coins (make sure you and your partners have at least 30 to 50% ). Blame "unfair" pools/miners, it would take too long otherwise and you don't want your "winner" eliminated too soon. 7. Wait till the few percent of coins available in the market explode in value (100,000/500,000% is ok) and there is enough liquidity. 8. Start liquidating and find some "individuals" you can blame. 9. Never come back.
To be continued.

Fedoracoin source was spotted which was accidentally uploaded to the project too Pardon my ignorance, but I keep seeing this reference to Fedoracoin but no one explains the significance of it. Why is it relevant whether XC used Fedoracoin source or not?

Why is it relevant whether XC used Fedoracoin source or not? Its not most relevant. Whats more relevant is the after-launch-scam. People today start screaming with a 1% pre-mine. People get mad when they find hidden blocks. But until now, only a few realize that a after-launch coin reduction is much and much worse. Its masked fraud, they ended up with factor 6. Each percent they had before reduction, its was like 1>3 btc per percent 21/22 may, became 6 (!) after. Its a guillotine hanging above the head of many, but most don't know since they keep spreading false fud very fast.

This post is unreadable 3rd world jibberish. I have seen no evidence of "hidden blocks" or anything like this guy is talking about, he's just babbling random stuff. The XC thread always stated there was a small premine. If the dev delivers anonymous functions, price will go up 10x higher, if he doesn't, price will go to 0. As a guy said in another thread, "you need a big pair for this coin".

And who benefit most from the coin reduction? About your 10x increase statement: you would need a LOT of gamblers then and the illusion of new features may not disappear too soon. I doubt it.

I CAN'T read your posts. It's not valid English. Are you trying to say Darkcoin has "hidden blocks", or XC has "hidden blocks". There's zero evidence for that on either coin. Why are you making up random crap?

Why are you making up random crap? I think I understand the gist of what he is saying. As far as hidden blocks I think he was just referring to the example of Asiacoin, not saying it applies here. It was just an example. A reduction in the planned supply magnifies the proportion of an announced pre-mine. For example, if I introduce a coin with a final POW supply of 100,000,000 coins and a 1% pre-mine, and then cut the supply to 10,000,000 coins, the pre-mine explodes to 10% of the final supply. I've tolerated this in minor/niche coins (such as Piggycoin cutting their supply as it shifts to a POS), but it really is intolerable in any coin that claims to be serious. We can't be jacking around with the coin supply arbitrarily. Most of us here resent the way that central banks can print money at will, and have touted cryptocurrencies as being above that sort of manipulation. But if devs and/or small groups of powerful miners can alter the basic characteristics of a coin that affects supply/demand and thus pricing, all we've done is traded central banks for shady devs. Not exactly an improvement.

Of course I have massive butthurt for not mining X11coin BUT I read your post Then I read X11coin original thread, didn't have to read XLB thread coz I was mining it/ reading in real time and I think you may be right The most strange thing is that there was no mention of anon features in X11coin ANN post, it was added later, one of the users asked dev what are his plans and he replied "I think I found a way to make anon tx" Hmmm

He claims there's "hidden blocks" in both Darkcoin and XC and as I said, I've seen no evidence of that, or even him defining what exactly a "hidden block" is.
