The grue lurks in the darkest places of the earth. Its favorite diet is adventurers, but its insatiable appetite is tempered by its fear of light. No grue has ever been seen by the light of day, and few have survived its fearsome jaws to tell the tale.

you should use linux instead of windows, should cut your cost by $100

It is pitch black. You are likely to be eaten by a grue.

I agree the costs would be slightly lower, however I think the potential buyer of a plug and play system like this would more likely be attracted to a Windows 7 system which they would be more comfortable with and able to use as a standard desktop computer as well.  This being said, I may offer a linux version at a reduced price as an option.

The hard drive capacity would be nice to know. And I've never shipped a computer, but does it really cost 99 dollars to do so?

Hard drive capacity is 500 GB.  Shipping costs vary quite a bit depending on the location of the buyer.  I would be willing to change that to the exact UPS shipping cost based on the actual location of the buyer.

I might be interested in a Linux version.  How much would you charge to ship to Virginia?

For a real mining rig value I would have at least 3@5870,
That's where the real money starts!

I would just pass along the actual ups shipping cost with no markup.

Issues of case space and cooling efficiencies start coming into play when adding more than two cards per case.  I'm not saying it's not possible, just more complicated.  I have systems with 2 5970 with hashrates over 1.2 Gh/s available, however due to lack of availability the cards offered in these systems are used.

Interesting.  I really want a miner, but don't think I could afford this.  It would take too long to pay off even if the current BTC to USD rates hold.  Are you offering any cheaper deals (I don't care if it's Linux or Windows) or ones with more processing power?
