Kernel fixes for 14.6 (x11/x13) + new settings for 270x / 270 / 7870. I am now gathering all GPU information please post with your results with the new drivers. I need solid stable high hashrate results from all types of GPU. Even if you see your config posted please reply with a confirmed working + your hashrate to show that its not just one person. Thanks all for the support! http://redd.it/29mzyt

I can't seem to get this running. I'll start off with what I have done. Installed and updated Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (currently upgrading to 14.04) Downloaded the sgminer-5.0 file off of the nicehash website and placed in "Home" Downloaded and installed amd-catalyst-13.12-linux_x86.x86_64 (it was what I was using previously, I will probably try updating.) Downloaded and installed AMD-APP-SDK-v2.9-lnx32 (files saved in Home but installed in /opt/AMDAPP) Downloaded and placed ADL_SDK in the appropriate sgminer folder I rebooted between every install just to make sure everything was ready for the next step. In terminal I navigated to the correct folder and ./sgminer and input my pool info and end up with a core dump. https://i.imgur.com/cx6Swpc.pngI then tried to compile it on my own using the step provided at the bottom of the FAQ. I installed all of the tools listed below the instructions before attempting to compile. When I get to the second libtoolize set of commands it runs into an error. https://i.imgur.com/VbU4YuF.pngI tried to run the Windows version and it seems to be crashing as well. Any ideas on what I am messing up?

Anyone having the issue or know what causes it. Every 30 seconds sgminer will switch to the next pool in line. not sure about when you tried to build but you are using amd video cards, right? this build does not support nvidia edit: hmm seems like i have heard of this problem before but i dont remember how to fix it other than running with --no-adl
Yeah I'm running 2 Sapphire 270x and have them running fine under stock BAMT 1.6. Where does the --no-adl go and what does it do? I know very little about the whole compiling process which is why I'm doing this on a spare drive.

If any of you have been experiencing a problem with these new sgminers running under 14.6beta let me give you an example of what happened to me: I have 4 rigs of 7970s and 280xs. 3 rigs were fine running x11-x15 under the new AMD beta drivers. The other one would run for anywhere from 20 minutes to 2 hours and die with a BSOD no matter what engine speed, voltage, or memory speed I used. After days of troubleshooting it finally came down to doing a complete uninstall of all AMD software, reinstall 14.6 and remove GPU devices and drivers and reinstalling the device drivers for the GPUs. That finally fixed it. Even though I treated all 4 rigs the same, sometimes something glitches out. I hope this saves someone somewhere some time.

I tried nicehash for 12hrs or so but it stops accepting shares and my miners switched over backup pool. Is there some reason for that ? Hi everyone, I have been trying to get my Sgminer5.0 to mine X15 for the past few days. I'm having problems with the config file, evey config i try gives me no connection to the pool, or HW errors with invalid noncecount, also the other issue is low difficulty shares being rejected. I am using BAMT with SGMINER 5.0 and its the only way I can mine x15, if anyone has a config file i can try please I will pay for you help.
I'm using the bitblock kernel and this config to just try to get the x11 to work, but it still comes with low difficulty shares. Anytime i try another config with bitblock kernel or if i try to change this config i get invalid nonce count and HW errors. PLEASE HELP ME!

Is it possible to get this to work with a .bat file? I much prefer that method to .conf files.
I initially copy/pasted my .bat from the original (old) sgminer and have been tweaking it based on what I have read here (very little information anywhere else on the net that I could find). *Edit* It has essentially been gutted aside from host/worker settings
I either receive "share above target" with tons of hardware errors, or if I try running with darkcoin-mod it loads (sort've) without the typical 'Yayy!' responses and my pool does not detect the shares.
Running 2 x R9 270s
Without much on the net and no example .conf/.bat and no readme included with the build I am very confused on how to proceed.
Any input?

you can get the build from my sig, it has all the readme and other help files in it and yes you can make it run from a bat file but it might get kinda complex if you want to use the poolswitch ability the main difference that needs to be noted is instead of using -k or --kernel you need to use --algorithm

the switching is done server side so having tradmybit and nicehash scattered like that will not work right if you want backup pools put them at the end of the pool list, as it always chooses the first available pool try like this { "pools" : [
{ "name" : "nicehash x15", "url" : "stratum+tcp://stratum.nicehash.com:3339", "user" : "18oLLFcxwwzfQt4F2YF7QzKyFeksq3dqsQ", "pass" : "xxxx", "profile" : "x15" }, { "name" : "nicehash x13", "url" : "stratum+tcp://stratum.nicehash.com:4337", "user" : "18oLLFcxwwzfQt4F2YF7QzKyFeksq3dqsQ", "pass" : "xxxx", "profile" : "x13" }, { "name" : "nicehash x11", "url" : "stratum+tcp://stratum.nicehash.com:4336", "user" : "18oLLFcxwwzfQt4F2YF7QzKyFeksq3dqsQ", "pass" : "xxxx", "profile" : "x11" }, { "name" : "trademybit x15", "url" : "stratum+tcp://east01.us.trademybit.com:4012", "user" : "xxxx", "pass" : "xxxx", "profile" : "x15" }, { "name" : "trademybit x13", "url" : "stratum+tcp://east01.us.trademybit.com:4011", "user" : "xxxx", "pass" : "xxxx", "profile" : "x13" }, { "name" : "trademybit x11", "url" : "stratum+tcp://east01.us.trademybit.com:4010", "user" : "xxxx", "pass" : "xxxx", "profile" : "x11" } ], "profiles" : [ { "name" : "X15", "algorithm" : "bitblock", "intensity" : "18", "gpu-threads" : "2", "gpu-powertune" : "20", "thread-concurrency" : "8192", "worksize": "128", "gpu-engine": "980", "gpu-memclock": "1250", "gpu-fan": "auto" }, { "name" : "X13", "algorithm" : "marucoin-mod", "intensity" : "18", "gpu-threads" : "2", "gpu-powertune" : "20", "thread-concurrency" : "8192", "worksize": "64", "gpu-engine": "1020", "gpu-memclock": "1400", "gpu-fan": "0-85" }, { "name" : "X11", "algorithm" : "darkcoin-mod", "intensity" : "18", "gpu-threads" : "2", "gpu-powertune" : "20", "thread-concurrency" : "8192", "worksize": "64", "gpu-engine": "1020", "gpu-memclock": "1400", "gpu-fan": "0-85" } ], "hamsi-expand-big" : "1", "failover-only" : true, "failover-switch-delay" : "30", "extranonce-subscription" : true, "queue" : "0", "vectors" : "1", "temp-cutoff" : "90", "temp-overheat" : "85", "auto-fan" : true, "temp-hysteresis" : "3", "show-coindiff" : true, "kernel-path" : "/usr/local/bin" }

Well, tried to setup the .conf and no go. I have tried .conf files in every miner out there that supports them and always end up with the following every single time without fail. Loaded configuration file sgminer.conf Fatal JSON error in configuration file. Configuration file could not be used So that is why I don't like .confs I have been over it a dozen times gutting about everything extra I can think of, quadruple checking the "s, :s, {,}s and []s where I did find some mistakes, corrected them, and still cannot figure it out. Have compared to other users .confs and it appears to be spot on but there must be a mistake somewhere. I used the example.conf and changed the values where needed. I will note that if I try to run sgminer without any .conf or .bat to try to get it to generate a new .conf it crashes immediately after entering host, password, etc. { "pools": [ { "name" :"Pool 1", "url" : "stratum+tcp://blahblahblah:1111", "user" : "blah.blah", "pass" : "blah", "priority" : "1", "profile" : "x11" }, { "name" :"Pool 2", "url" : "stratum+tcp://blahblahblah:1111", "user" : "blah.blah", "pass" : "blah", "priority" : "2", "profile" : "x112" } ], "profiles" : [ { "name" : "x11", "algorithm" : "darkcoin-mod", "lookup-gap" : "2", "intensity" : "17", "thread-concurrency" : "8192,8192", "worksize" : "256", "gpu-engine" : "1100,1100", "gpu-memclock" : "1500,1500", "gpu-threads" : "2", "gpu-fan" : "75" }, { "name" : "x112", "algorithm" : "darkcoin-mod", "lookup-gap" : "2", "intensity" : "17,17", "thread-concurrency" : "8192,8192", "worksize" : "256", "gpu-engine" : "1100,1100", "gpu-memclock" : "1500,1500", "gpu-threads" : "2", "gpu-fan" : "75" } ], "failover-only" : "true", "default-profile" : "x11", "gpu-memdiff" : "0,0", "kernel-path" : "kernel", "expiry" : "1", "failover-switch-delay" : "60", "gpu-dyninterval" : "7", "log" : "5", "queue" : "0", "scan-time" : "1", "tcp-keepalive" : "30" } I keep going back to the kernel-path and thinking it may be wrong but have tried a bunch of variations and full/partial file paths with no change.

I've been trying to get this to run stable for days now, without success. It's hashing and switching fine, but after a couple of hours my GPU goes DEAD. It has never run more than about 5-6 hours straight. I never had a DEAD card before and if I use another miner it runs stable for days, so there's nothing wrong with my card (I rechecked). I don't know what else to try, so hopefully someone else can help me! Here's the config (Asus 280x DC2T): { "pools" : [ { "name" : "NH x13 multi", "url" : "stratum+tcp://stratum.nicehash.com:4337", "user" : "BTC adres", "pass" : "d=.01;f0=0;f2=0;f3=4.14;f4=3.18;f5=0;f6=2.66;f7=0", "profile" : "x13" }, { "name" : "NH x11 multi", "url" : "stratum+tcp://stratum.nicehash.com:4336", "user" : "BTC adres", "pass" : "d=.04;f0=0;f2=0;f3=4.14;f4=3.18;f5=0;f6=2.66;f7=0", "profile" : "x11" }, { "name" : "NH x15 multi", "url" : "stratum+tcp://stratum.nicehash.com:4339", "user" : "BTC adres", "pass" : "d=.01;f0=0;f2=0;f3=4.14;f4=3.18;f5=0;f6=2.66;f7=0", "profile" : "x15" }, { "name" : "TMB", "url" : "stratum+tcp://am01.eu.trademybit.com:3458", "user" : "user", "pass" : "x", "profile": "x11" } ], "profiles" : [ { "name" : "x11", "algorithm" : "darkcoin-mod", "intensity" : "17", "gpu-threads" : "2", "worksize": "256" }, { "name" : "x13", "algorithm" : "marucoin-mod", "intensity" : "18", "gpu-threads" : "2", "worksize": "128" }, { "name" : "x15", "algorithm" : "bitblock", "intensity" : "17", "gpu-threads" : "2", "worksize": "64" } ],

try setting intensity on x15 to 16, if that doesn't work it is probably your clocks on one of the algo's is too high
