i have been using bitcointalk for some time, and have always wondered who owns the site.

Originally Satoshi hosted the forums on SourceForge, then moved them to bitcoin.org. Shortly after Satoshi disappeared, the forums were moved here and hosted by Sirius. Theymos took over control of the forums after that. |

Theymos took over control of the forums after that. If satoshi dissapeard how did he gave theymos acces to servers? |

Theymos runs the forum, but he doesn't "own" it in legal terms. He even said that himself: Sirius founded the forum and still owns the domain name, so I would say that he owns it.

The admin who's running it currently is theymos, not sure if he/she is the owner though -as in owning the domain-.

He said that Sirius is owner of domain, he is just like idk, CEO maybe  there are probably some more people involved in management. |
