I think it may be worth throwing everything we've got to save up for one of these - http://www.coindesk.com/cointerra-cuts-price-of-terraminer-iv-bitcoin-mining-rig/ - 2(TH/s)@28nm for $13,999 with delivery in December.  They state that for every month of possible delays they'll add 20% hashing power to your order.  Although KNC@28nm may drop their prices yet once they're shipping next day.  So it may be best to order more KNC's if their shipping next day, drop their prices and it's taking us too long to raise the $14K quickly enough due to Octobers and Novembers network difficulty.  For KNC to compete with CoinTerra they'll have to drop their prices in halve.  Which they may do in October/November once they're shipping next day and other 28nm ASIC's get close to release.

The hoster said it's scheduled for pick-up at 4pm Kansas time today 10pm BST - 9pm GMT/UTC.  If you had access to a magic money making machine since last Friday would you pick it up so late in the day the following Tuesday  Huh

You might if you were busy all weekend(plus)...or had a conflict of interest and stood to benefit from keeping competing hardware offline as long as possible.

If this hashrate doesn't go up to 60(GH?s) by the time our mining operator is up I'll get him to call the hosters again,

Matthew,

I have picked up your unit and am attempting to get it mining however there is an authentication error with the information you provided:

*url:* stratum+tcp://mint.bitminter.com:3333
*worker:* canth_rsm1
*password:* x

Please setup an account with Slushes pool or Eclipse, they tend to have far fewer issues.

Thank you for your time.

Our mining operator Canth has phoned them and we have to wait until at least 9am central US time 3pm BST - 2pm UTC/GMT.  IMO all these delays since it was ready on Friday is because they're mining on it  Undecided

It's ridiculous that they had an "authentication issue" with worker credentials that work just fine for the 2 GPU rig I've got running on Bitminter right now. At best, they managed to screw up copying and pasting 3 pieces of information. At worst, Matthew is right and they're stealing a day of mining. Either way, we're going to get it resolved at or shortly after 9AM central when support is available.

Since it was ready on Friday they could have made at least BTC2.00 so no wonder they forgot to for-fill my request for priority pick up at the $45 offered.  One of our investors lives in Kansas City and that may become useful in the future.

Recommend BTCGuild PPLNS if you're having trouble with bitminter. BFL gear is very happy mining there and @ bitminter which it sounds like you've tried.

Cheers.

Yeah, BTC Guild and Slush have been fine for me but they already occupy over 50% of the network when combined. The thought was to try to use a successful but smaller pool - it's running right now with cgminer without issue. Does anyone know if bfgminer has problems with bitminter?

Regardless, we've given alternate credentials to slush's pool and now in queue to get configured by the end of the business day. I will be calling and harassing them repeatedly until that happens.

They keep pushing us to use Eclipse and Slushes.  Those worker details were correct and tested and doesn't Josh@BFL work for Eclipse or at least used too.  All they said on the phone is they have 24hrs to fix it.

I'll scheduled the dividends for the last Friday of every month.  So the first monthly dividend should be on 27th of September.

I've had no issues with bfgminer v3.1.1 on bitminter, slush, or btcguild using BFL gear. I've had some issues with 50BTC, polmine.pl, and btcoxygen when mining them with BFL gear.

Cheers.
