Hi, I am very interested, could you kindly answer a few of my questions first though.
Can you take a picture of the camera with your username on display for me please?
How much would shipping be to England - United Kingdom?
Could you mark the item as damaged electrical equipment and put a value of $10 on the customs declaration? (To avoid import duty + tax)
How many shots has the camera taken?
Is the cmos perfectly clear? (No black marks on images when a photo of a white piece of card is taken?)
Would you take paypal?

Many thanks

What are your references? Would you be willing to ship first to a member with significantly more references?

I'd be interested in this too. Would you be willing to use an escrow?

I would rather not use an escrow service as I have never used one before.

Sounds logical...not.

I don't want to protect my buyer, because I'm a scammer.

buyer beware.

I am not going to offer any accusations here because I have no proof of anything, I just want to show the PMs back and forth with the seller and you can make your own conclusions. Based on my experience and the fact that this seller refuses to use an escrow service, I find it very suspicious.

usually how I do this is if you do not have an equal rep as I do you will ship first and I will pay once the item arrives

I have conducted thousands of dollars in recent positive transactions and to be honest most of them the person ships first.

I have a good reputation that I have been building for almost a year, I am well known and run several Bitcoin related websites including my hosting company which is traded on the GLBSE, I can also provide several references from other well known reputable members as well as show you links to threads on bitcointalk where I have conducted these transactions - upon request.

I encourage you to check my posts in the marketplace and you will see I am a trusted individual, let me know what you think.

thank you!

I understand your terms but I do not agree. I have never been scammed and would like to keep it that way. You send bitcoins to my private wallet and Ill ship your camera out tommorrow evening. This is the best I can offer.

Thank you.

you really think Im going to scam you? you think im going to ruin a rep I have been building for almost a year for a $300 camera? seriously? I can show you threads where I have been trusted to pay twice that. Look at my posts, you know damn well I am not a scammer.

I also know of forums where members have more than 1 account. rah rah rah.

I'm just saying

what are you talking about?

I can give multiple references from multiple trusted members of this community

I can show you multiple threads where sellers / buyers have paid / shipped first and I have always paid and fulfilled my end of the bargain

I can show thousands of dollars of recent positive transactions conducted in this forum

and you tell me what?

you have offered absolutely zero proof that you can be trusted

I have offered overwhelming proof that I can be trusted

you also refuse to use escrow service

something smells fishy here.

read this PM and make up your mind for yourself, I have given up on trying to buy this camera, the seller has given me no reasons why I should trust him at all and now I am extremely skeptical, again I am making no accusations what so ever but personally I have a very bad feeling about this and I am providing this PM log available so any perspective buyer can make an educated decision on this transaction

Escrow or COD should be needed unless the seller has good rep. There's no reason not to, especially when reputable people regularly offer to be escrow for nominal / no fees.

Must every trust issue evolve into an argument? Please, OP, for the good of yourself, do not argue with potential buyers, that just repels other potential buyers!

let me know if you successfully sell this to someone and I will retract my previous statements of skepticism

if you are an honest person I apologize I am just trying to protect the community

and to be honest with you my suspicion was actually that someone had hijacked your account that had been idle for some time a lot of that has been going on lately

and the fact that you have been a member since june and only have 30 something posts somewhat supports the idea that your account was idle for a period of time

good luck to you all.
