We added FIMKrypto to our service! Let's try to trade Smiley First order for example...

Helpdesk: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=556947

Wow, that was fast! I'm going to try it out. Smiley

I want to remind that our exchange service is p2p, not automatic exchange Smiley

Excellent. You may want to post on the main channel of FIMKrypto users, http://forum.fimk.fi

Is this project something the devs or community would consider subsidizing?
Yes, mostly in the form of technical resources to accept an possibly convert to BTC or EUR the FIMK received.

Heavy subsidization means a high number of modest reward incentives for incoming merchants / referrers of such, NOT large funds invested or contributed into merchant operations unfortunately.

The first trade of 1000FIM has occurred yesterday: https://nxtblocks.info/#section/assets_exchange/market/12404894802398759379
Quote
Code:
Recent Trades
Date Type Quantity Price Total AskOrderId BidOrderId
2014-07-30 13:18:12 Buy 4.9        39.9 195.51 1493739874171191858 9429237637700683162

which translates to the price 0.0000029 BTC/FIM, which is close to the last price at DGex.

The buyer already has 16 assets in his/her portfolio! You even can google that account and find correspondent nickname.

For those who do not aware: the trading at Asset Exchange is safe and trustless, because the trade occurs in a single transaction.
And Asset Exchange cannot be suspended (like DGex) or hacked, or collapsed (like shareXcoin).

The only threat is that the issuer may refuse to withdraw. But I will not - please check my profiles at BTT (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=147961) and nxtforum (https://nxtforum.org/index.php?action=profile;u=15).

You always can check the amount of FIM coins in the gateaway account: FIM-SESR-CDCR-F86V-A2ABQ  and compare it with the amount of the 1000FIM in circulation: https://nxtblocks.info/#section/assets_exchange/stakeholders/12404894802398759379

For those, who want to trade FIM, I've creared the FIM Gataway on Nxt Asset Exchange (AE):

Asset Name: 1000FIM

Asset ID: 12404894802398759379

Each 1 asset represents 1000 FIM coins.

In order to sell your FIM coins on AE, first you need to get 1000FIM asset. To do this send your FIM coins to FIM-SESR-CDCR-F86V-A2ABQ with FIMK wallet, _and_ send an Arbitrary Message containing your NXT address (in Reed Solomon format) to the same address (FIM-SESR-CDCR-F86V-A2ABQ).

To guarantee smooth withdrawals, the amount of the 1000FIM assets in circulation will always be less then the balance of FIM-SESR-CDCR-F86V-A2ABQ.

To withdraw your 1000FIM assets transfer them to NXT-M667-6GVL-3JNZ-GRN96 _and_ in the attached message place your FIM address (in Reed Solomon format).

Deposit/Withdrawal time: 12 hours max., usually much faster.

Fees: currently 0.5% Deposits, 0.5% Withdrawals (subject to change).

Minimum Deposit: 1000 FIM  (subject to change)

Minimum Withdrawal: 1000 FIM  (subject to change)

To trade on AE without local Nxt client you can use one of the public Nxt nodes:

http://217.17.88.5:7876/          http://vps4.nxtcrypto.org:7876/
http://vps8.nxtcrypto.org:7876/   http://nxt.ravensbloodrealms.com:7876/
https://miasik.no-ip.org:7876/    https://162.243.145.83:7876/

or use http://www.secureae.com/ web platform.

In order to buy some FIM coins on AE, first you need to get some NXT. You can do this for fiat at instant automated exchange https://coinomat.com/ , or at CCEDK exchange (including North European currencies). or at p2p exchange https://nxtex.net/ (for PayPal, like at Localbitcoins). Or you can use MultiGateaWay , or cryptoexchanges like https://bter.com/ , https://poloniex.com/ , https://www.cryptsy.com/ .

Happy FIMK trading!

Can I get some donation from infrastructure or marketing committee for this? I can add FIMK tomorrow morning (UTC+4).
Sure. The amount needs to be decided when we have seen the effect of your exchange, but I would estimate minimum of 100 000 FIM if your service is useful.

Quote
3) set up a FIM altcoin gateway and preconfigure FIMK with altcoin assets (example: BTC, DRK, LTC....).  Users can then trade altcoins on the FIM platform. (benefits: gets users really using the system, increases mining fees, creates an exchange where all trades are in the open, so everyone knows their is no cheating by exchange)
This has been in the works since early July. Unfortunately development is often slowed down by unforeseen circumstances, unless you do everything yourself, and there's just that much I can stretch to myself.

Fantastic.  Glad we are on the same page.  Perhaps there's a way the community can help out.  That is what we are here for.  I am sure there are keen developers among us.  You don't have to do everything yourself.

Quote
2) set up a FIM multipool that mines alt coins and buys FIM on exchanges (benefits: allows miners to obtain FIM and supports price).
You know any competitive programmer / team capable and willing to do this, for a nice compensation?

I might be able to dig a few up.  Please PM me the details on the compensation.  Also, someone from the community might volunteer.

Nice to see things moving forward.

Notable projects 2019: Semux, Dero, Wagerr, BEAM

Graviton ran away?

Pretty bold accusation for 10 minutes late.  Give it little longer, these things take time to turn up.

10 minutes?!!! It's down for 2 weeks.

- better trade FIM right now with FIM Gateway: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=633304.msg8097620#msg8097620

or with p2p exchange: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=633304.msg8099798#msg8099798

Probably because the developers are developing the coin, not day trading it.

I bet a community effort could get it on Bittrex or Polo or BTER. Someplace that already has NXT would probably be easiest because they already know how to implement it.

A large holder could arrange simple community effort quite easily... if they considered it a priority, which doesn't seem to be the case. They know good things will come at their own time!
