Good crypto-currency needs two things: good technology base and good distribution.
NXT is a step in first direction, FIMK - is an attempt in second.

Because crypto-currency as an entity has to be open-source, every technology could be freely copy-pasted. Distribution - is a work which must be done each time.

At this moment FimK is the most interesting crypto currency for me.

The decentralized aspect of the blockchain certainly means buyer beware.

Yes i think that`s right. Scams will not only be a Problem for FimK. But that doesn't help.

Maybe a system can be created, that decreases the risk. For example: 
It's only allowed to create and sell assets if x % of the whole value of the assets are paid to an escrow-system. Or if the asset-creator has not enough Fimk, he can give his ID to the escrow-system. So the asset-buyers are much more safe. After a certain time the Fimk will be paid back to the asset-creator or his ID will be deleted.
If persons want money from strangers and have no evil intent, then they should not have problems with a system like these.

The account identification procedures launched in a couple of weeks will tackle some of the AE trustworthiness issue.

The association requires government issued electronic id from all accounts eligible to the basic income. These accounts can then be used for strong authentication after they're marked as identified. Asset issuers can release assets from authenticated accounts. If they choose to make their id data public, its validity can be technically confirmed from the blockchain. If they choose not to make it public, in any case the association will have access to the id data in cases of fraud investigation etc.

The strong identification feature is optional, thus people can still operate their FIMK accounts, issue assets etc. from unidentified accounts. Serious, legal businesses will however have a strong incentive to use identified account. Unfortunately this feature is only available to people with their id data in the Finnish electronic databases (most people residing in Finland and some foreigners).

Decentralized escrow has been in the FIMK initial blueprint and will likely be implemented in the future when some more planned features of the NXT core become available to make this task more feasible.

I have the same problem, cannot deposit FIMK to Dgex and the AE is not a solution because the liquidity is minimal. It is clear that the exchange is not the priority number 1 of the dev. It is not possible to say that we should not be patient, we do not have an exchange to buy or to sell Fimkripto: when will we have it?

OK, glad it's not me. I certainly don't want to sell. I'm happy holding at this point. But, seeing all the empty blocks is a bit sad. I think part of it is due to the lack of liquidity and exchanges. People won't use the coin, if they can't get their hands on it.

I think its dangerous to ignore what people are asking for. Good example is Dgex. Everyone wanted the Graviton to evolve but he just would not listen and kept on trying to do things his way and I am sad to say its going to take a miracle to get Dgex to be a competitive exchange again. No one knows about FIMK because its not listed so even if the devs create something amazing who is going to know about it.

Graviton had been working on this new exchange for a long time. He was due to implement it when the theft happened. This was just a set back and I'm sure he'll come back more competitive than ever.

No, I think they're wrong, you can't talk of lack of interest of the investors when we are not a complete exchange, what we have is an exchange, Dgex, where you cannot send FIM and AE in NXT called that is used by many investors less than they use BTC.

If we had a full exchange in BTC we could comment on the interest of investors.

Even some AE of jl777, Atomic, freemarket ... are exchanged in Bter since the first day.

How is it possible that FIM do not also after so many weeks?

It is appreciated that des support to the community by providing a FIM AE, but the right thing to do is see the demand, not supply, And we can see that:
1st position of demand: 1 x 25 25 NXT
2nd position of demand: 28.25 x 20 565 NXT
