Thinking about it.  With all the recent scams what kind of ID would you offer?  We have been thinking about requiring your real address with verification which would take a few days (we send you a snail mail with a code in it).  Would that work for you?

Our family was terrorized by Homeland Security.  Read all about it here:  http://www.jmwagner.com/ and http://www.burtw.com/  Any donations to help us recover from the $300,000 in legal fees and forced donations to the Federal Asset Forfeiture slush fund are greatly appreciated!

I don't mind at all. There are a number of ways I can verify my physical address, real name....anything you like.

I'm simply not in a position to disappear for 100 BTC when I have far more invested through various community programs and other opportunities.

If you are interested in taking on the entire balance of my loan, let me know and I will work to provide you whatever details you wish.

Burt,

a better possibility would be to utilize paypal.  Have Bitlane send you like a dollar for an item to be shipped.. Look up the verified address via paypal, then refund the cash.

this address has to be valid, or at least had to be, via credit card billing and or bank account information.

Just a thought.

It doesn't prove that they own the account. All you end up with is an address from a hacked PayPal account.

It was easy for me to take over the guy's life who I am pretending to be.

I live in his house, at the same address, have the same telephone number and even sleep with his wife.....lol
(somehow I even get to drive his Skyline GT-R without anyone putting up a fight)....go figure.

As long as you don't actually look like your avatar. and it's a decent gtr (pref 32 or 34 rather), then maybe.  Watching on the sidelines while Burt does the leg work.

Everything else is pathetic namesake.

Totally possible but for a medium to loan it is decent assurance. Also there is a lot of information available from PayPal to help validate the person.

I actually have a plan to possibly offer a identification validation service for HTC lenders  just need to work out some specifics and work with the community to gather the necessary trust on both the lender and borrower side

I pre-labelled it.  I do that when I tag a receive address against someone I'm dealing with.

If it was automatic, I'd have to find a tin-foil hat and be worried about who knew what Smiley
