It has been requested somewhere in the New Forum Software sub, though I'm not sure whether it'll be implemented or not. I also think it'd be beneficial.

There's just so many garbage threads, it takes too long to open each one and ignore it. This same feature was accomplished in the old forum via BitcoinTalk++, but its not depreciated.
