I am looking for someone to modify a program that generates vanity .onion TLDs for the Tor network. The current program, shallot, does this, but is CPU only. What I would like is for someone to add GPU support, to speed up generation time for longer vanity possibility.

The original thread was here, https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=32501.0 but it's in the off-topic section so it's not getting much visibility there. The program that does this currently is called shallot, available here http://gitorious.org/shallot/shallot/

I'm not sure what the scope of this project really entails - so please let me know if I'm out to lunch on the price. I will offer payment up-front to a trusted/reputable member of this forum.

Thanks for your interest!

I've posted a reply to the original thread - I wrote a program like this.
