So you have 1 PCI-E wire with 2 connectors? Whatever 500 with single/2 con. I used never seemed to work.
Handles OC?

I myself use a Dell PSU @ 750w and it easily can handle 2 overclocked antminers.

you can buy them for 60 bucks @ http://minersource.net/products/dell-750w-psu-slash-adapter   (sorry if links not aloud for new users. it's not a referral link).

hope this helps

It just so happens that a Corsair AX750 was acting up and switching itself off, so I needed
to run to the computer store and find a replacement...
Had an open box EVGA 600B for $60 whereas the 500B was 64.00 ... (retail store)

First off, the Ant works with it just fine. However, the cable between the connectors is really, really short.
I barely could plug them into the Ant and for a moment I was afraid it is going to rip the connectors off the Ant.
There is a lot of tension!!!

If the 500B is like that, then I rather go with something else next time. While the price is ok and it works, the PITA factor
doesn't pay enough to go for it. 3 year warranty or not...
