I get these errors on a fresh install

 [2014-06-01 16:37:48] Started cgminer 3.7.2
 [2014-06-01 16:37:48] clDevicesNum returned error, no GPUs usable
 [2014-06-01 16:37:48] No devices detected!
 [2014-06-01 16:37:48] Waiting for USB hotplug devices or press q to quit

I use this guide to a T.  It worked perfectly a few months ago when I did it before.

What am I missing?

I figured it out for whoever else has this issue; I had to make an xinit file

Also.

This guide is substantially better.  I reformatted again and it was a breeze this time around using this.  I didn't have to do any extra crap;

http://blog.truepps.com/complete-guide-to-mine-scrypt-on-xubuntu-13-10/

Just use that guide but with the newest drivers of course, and then the extra auto load scripts on the bottom of the other guide if you want them.
