I'm removing Bitcoin-qt from my computer since my current setup doesn't require it anymore. I originally downloaded the entire blockchain, it fully syncs within a few minutes of starting up. I want to remove the program, but also all the blockchain data that is taking up space on my hard drive.

Setup:
I'm running OSX mavericks and bitcoin-qt 0.9.1
I let bitcoin-qt use default locations/settings when installing.
I have the system set to show hidden files/folders.

What I've done so far:
I looked in ~Library/Application Support, and I searched all other Library -> Application Support folders - nothing.
I used finder to search any file/folder with 'bitcoin' in name - only the 32MB app shows.
I used finder to search for any file over 1GB - nothing.
I ran bitcoin-qt and used finder to show all files accessed recently - nothing.
I searched this forum and google and didn't find anything except the path I searched above already.

WTF. Help is appreciated  Huh

By default Bitcoin will put its data here:

~/Library/Application Support/Bitcoin/

from: https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Data_directory
as you allready know.

also:

http://www.mikesel.info/show-hidden-files-mac-os-x-10-7-lion/

might do the trick.

Im not really here, its just your imagination.

You can download the new Bitcoin-QT data, but it takes a long time.

In your frantic rush to increase your post count, you forgot to read the question that you were trying to answer.

I had already tried a different command line solution to show hidden files that didn't work.
The one you linked to did work and I was able to find and delete the folder.
Thanks!
