Trying to redirect one of my RX480 ETH rigs to test out XMR hashrates.

NsGpuCNMiner -o stratum+tcp://monero.crypto-pool.fr:3333 -u POLOWALLETADRESS.PAYMENTID.RIGNUMBER -p x

gives me:
Error in server response
: {"id":1,"jsonrpc":"2.0","error":{"code":-1,"message":"invalidaddressorusernameusedforlogin"}}

Anyone ?

Crypto-pool does not support exchange address at the moment.

Advantage of Nicehash is it pays in BTC

NsGpuCNMiner -o stratum+tcp://cryptonight.usa.nicehash.com:3355 -u <BTC-Address> - x

You basically sell your hash to rentors in their Nicehash market, so you are not really mining in a pool.

It's not how to, but how did you get it working. I'm getting this error on both cpu and gpu. same command ( notice you mistyped -p x there ).

Error in server response
: {"jsonrpc":"2.0","id":1,"error":{"code":24,"message":"Unauthorizedworker"}}

That explains it.

I guess i will give dwarfpool a shot tomorrow.

Thanks

I would like to report ~640 hashes for the MSI RX 480 8GB.  ~680 hashes with memory OC'ed to 2100 via MSI AB.  Wattman is too touchy for me.

How did you manage to tune card with AfterBurner?

I cannot control anything with mine. Win 10, Crimson 16.8.3

So I do have the AB Beta, with Crimson 16.8.3.  I also had the current stable AB with 16.8.3 and was able to adjust memory as well.  With/without HDMI plugged in.  So I don't know what's going on there.

Additionally I'm now running into an issue with Claymore's crashing after 15 or so minutes of mining.  I'm trying to play the crash, but it's difficult.  I had the memory OC'ed to 2100 for Ethereum for the past 3 days, and that was no problems.  Before that XMR had no problem with 3 cards.  I don't know, maybe 5 cards can be the issue, or dwarfpool.  Can a pool cause issues?

I hope Claymore updates this.  I support the guy.  He does something that I can't do and he gets paid for allowing me to use his software.

But anyway, yeah. That's it.

The latest Afterburner Beta support RX cards

Now I can do voltage

But memory and core clocks are in most right maximum position, so I cannot increase these values

Any chance to adjust them?

Hello,

I have been using your miner for a few days with 2 x 7990 cards. everything was fine until yesterday. Now only 2 cards (1 x7990 but it detects as two cards) can be detected usually it detects 4.

If i disconnect the power on one card I can mine with just one, Swap over and do the same on the other but if i run the system with both powered up then I can only detect the top card.

Very confused as to why it would work for 2 days and now not work.

any ideas on how to force the detection?

thanks

Install GPU-Z and see how many cards are there. It should be 4 x 7900 series. If not then there is a problem in your sistem...

Now got my ETH rigs tested running XMR @ dwarfpool.
Claymore miner reporting around 730-740 average per gpu.

Power consumption:

10 x RX480 8gb on three systems ~1550w from the wall

But now i am back at ETH, i will keep switching from day to day from now depending on the profitability.

ETH is what i want to hold longterm.

Can someone explain this?
If i combine hashrate of all the cards its total of 3.3 khash, and just few hours ago miner started showing 3.7 khash, before that it was showing 3.3 khash total as it should be.

http://imgur.com/a/Zmrq6

EDIT: I restarted miner now it shows 3.3 khash Shocked

In a multi rig environment, what is the simplest way to see each rig hashrate. alive/dead status etc.?

If I provided you good and useful info or just a smile to your day, consider sending me merit points to further validate this Bitcointalk account ~ useful for future account recovery...

I have tried;
radeon-crimson-16.7.3-win10-64bit
non-whql-win10-64bit-radeon-software-crimson-16.9.1-sep7
13-12_win7_win8_64_dd_ccc_whql-[Guru3D.com]

Trying to see if its something to do with opencl but not sure how to uninstall it or if that is even an option

EDIT

OK so i fixed it, I usually access the miner by remote desktop but instead i turned it off and plugged a spare monitor into the card that didn't work. turned it on and instead of taking the usual 10 seconds to fire up it took like 2 mins but when it finally loaded the desktop i can now see all 4 cards in gpuz. Not sure how plugging the monitor into the second card made it spring to lift but i'll chalk it up as a win.

thanks for replying to my questions
