I don't see how MRO is better than QCN QCN is a Monero clone which bring the following "advantages": + Incompetent dev: see commits from QCN devs in github + Weak network: orphan blocks all the time (too many, too frequent). Find them in any QC pool + Weak community Also Monero is a Bytecoin clone which: Had an unfair launch Has a too steep emission curve Yup, Bytecoin is 83% premined before launch. I will not call it "unfair launch" but "scammy launch". If you search for "bytecoin" in bitcointalk, you will find that "bytecoin" and "scam" looks like synonyms. Also, what is your definition of "too steep"? How is "not too steep"?

2*r9 280x + 5770
06/05/14-10:55:53 - New job received Speed: 578 h/s, TotalHashes: 218K, DevHashes: 10K Mining time: 00:06 06/05/14-10:55:59 - SHARE FOUND! - (GPU 0)
80% faster than my single core i7, 4 cores (OC-ed). 3 high-end VGA card combined <> 1 single core i7 CPU, 4 cores Another comparison (excluding pool/exchange fees/taxes): Processor: 4820k, 4 cores w/ AES accel, 126w resting, 171w mining, 45w used for mining. Delivers 180 hash/sec. 4 hash/watt. Edit: Forgot to mention this is on windows, you probably see much better numbers for at least the CPU on linux My core i5 2500k delivers 230 H/s in Ubuntu 14.04, which is higher than 1 single R9 270 (190 - 210 H/s) on Windows

still drops cards randomly in multicard rigs.....
Not happened with my rigs yet but the HR is worrisome. 1x7950 + 3 x R9 270 = less than 800 H/s (a bit faster than 2 core i7 combined)

Emission is flutter

Kind of works with a 6670. Thought I'd give it a shot lol. Locked up my system and crashed the video driver. I was only seeing like 30H/s so it probably isn't worth the trouble.

+1 for a linux miner +1 Claymore just needs to open source the miner. Others will help him to port it to Linux I will pay him 100 XMR to open source it - though he's already made a whopping 2 XMR from my pool. P.S. the loss of hashrate over time is fixed when I restarted the pool server, so it must be a connection issue with HTTP. Stratum is coming soon..
