Anyone can point me to a pool with decent hashrate?

http://monero.crypto-pool.fr/

Recently optimized. Fixed the code. Auto-restart. Less orphan, more blocks, more Monero.

EDIT :
For GPU the address is :

stratum+tcp://monero.crypto-pool.fr:6666

Example :

Type this in a command prompt or make a batch file :

setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
C:\Path_to_miner\NsGpuCNMiner.exe -o stratum+tcp://monero.crypto-pool.fr:6666 -u your_address_here -p x

Or if it doesn't work, try :

setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
C:\Path_to_miner\NsGpuCNMiner.exe -o monero.crypto-pool.fr:1111 -u your_address_here -p x

See my signature for tutorial Wink

Is it me or is there is something wrong with this pool ? Last block found was over 5 hours ago ?!?!

Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

Join http://pool.cryptoescrow.eu/#

This Monero mining pool has 3x faster share validation and lowest orphan rate on the market, thanks to Wolf's private code.

I believe that your GPU HR will be higher and more stable in this pool

Use caution! monero.crypto-pool.fr has not paid anyone in several days.

The admin (superresistant on these forums) hasn't provided any updates in the past 2 days other then this message:
I'm back. update soon.

Claymore, your miner stops functioning when your dev pool is down. Can you find a solution to this please? Maybe mine on the same pool as the user specified but with your address?

Hello,

Version 2.0 is total unusable for my sapphire 280x, driver is crashed after 3 minutes work.
Second vga, asus is working well.
I guess that Sapphire is with elpida, asus is with hynix memory.
I have found it when make two cmd with option -di 0, second cmd -di 1.
Always crashed instance with sapphire vga.

Other question: why is need to put the page file 16g + ?
What is dependence between RAM and page file (virtual memory is page file), even the RAM is free up to 70 % for 4G installed memory?
I cannot see any operations with page file when miner is working.

One more thing: your miner is with closed source (this is understandable because of your profit have guarantee), so please try to compile Linux binaries.

Thanks in advance.

Page file is required to make AMD OpenCL driver happy. Memory is not used but it is required for some reason when miner allocates 2-3 GB of GPU RAM for every card. And anyway it is unstable on a few percents of systems for some reason, I don't have any solution for now.
Linux version will available later, right now I have to postpone it.

Please read Readme and FAQ in the first post of this thread before asking any questions, probably the answer is already there.

There is no "my dev pool", you specify the pool and only this pool is used. I see moneropool.org is not available atm, just use some different pool.

Claymore, your miner stops functioning when your dev pool is down. Can you find a solution to this please? Maybe mine on the same pool as the user specified but with your address?

There is no "my dev pool", you specify the pool and only this pool is used. I see moneropool.org is not available atm, just use some different pool.

can u add the function like this :we can add a major pool  and  specify any backup  pools  at the one command line by parameters?
it's important for miner can be running normally when pool are feeling DDOS attacks Sad

OK Guys, I need some help over here.
Windows 8.1; Catalyst 14.6 (latest BETA); ULPS is disabled though MSI AB.
GPU is R9 290 with Elpida memory

I fixed my clocks issue by disabling ULPS, but right now GPU Load bothers me. It barely spikes up, mostly idles.
I've set max_alloc to 100%, tried with 50, 75, 80 too.
~370-375h/s

http://grab.by/xM2e

Catalyst 13.12 is REQUIRED for best performance and compatibility Smiley

Forgot to mention, I've tried them. Tested 14.4 which I had, then rolled back to 13.12, and finally decided to upgrade windows to 8.1 and see if the 14.6 beta would work. The same issue persists.

What I've noticed, is that for my 7950 cards best H/s are attained when I set GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 80 for all cards (7870,7950,290). Otherwise there is too much video memory allocated for 7950 (some 2.6GB), which results in decreased performance. Optimal value seems to be 1797MB for 7950. Cannot check the values for 7970 as I don't have one.
Confirming this.

7950@1200/1500, windows 8.1, 14.6 drivers and opencl dll's from 13.12
Max percent at 100, around 310h/s
Max percent at 80, around 335h/s

Good find Aney!  Cool
No matter what I set in GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT, my 290 always allocates 2600MB :/

Claymore
We need ability to use fail-over pools.
And there is one bug: my miners under cellular modem, and some how there is 2 things:
1. Somehow, miner works ok, but later it can't establish connection to the pool and keep trying - trying - trying. I exit miner and start it again - and all ok.
2. Somehow miner works ok, but later it sais something like can't make dev shares and keep saying it forever. If I restart miner, all ok - connection to pool established, mining ok, dev mining ok.
I think this 2 cases is some problem in connection part of miner. Can you make exit if it fails for 100 attemps for example? I can do some script like   call.miner->miner ->call.miner->miner etc. and it will work perfectly, if you don't want to search for error in algoritm of recconection to pool.

Can someone tell me what i'm doing wrong?

I've followed the instructions and i'm only getting 270h/s on my 280x. Also my GPU load is jumping between 66%-83% I don't know if this is normal.
