I am posting here due to the Tradehill shut down...

Is there any new exchange I can use that is not going to lock up my account like MtGox does for large amounts of money transfers?

Preferably an exchange that can work with dwolla/bitinstant as I use dwolla to hold my capital until I need to buy coins for a customer.

Please post any exchanges that are reliable and not shifty

And just to note, I operate legally within the USA with my business LLC licenses, and I pay taxes on income. I assume with this information, no reasonable exchange should lock any funds. I'm just worried about having a customers money then getting multiple thousands of dollars locked up by an exchange, and not being able to get that money back for a long time...

Please, post what you know.

You want something exactly like Mt.Gox, but you don't like Mt.Gox? I'm incredibly confused.

I have heard too many stories of MtGox being very sketchy. Locking thousands of dollars of peoples money up at a time and having horrible customer support in terms of resolving the matter.

I can process a volume of up to $5000-$10000 a week from in person customers alone, and MtGox has a limit of 400btc per 24 hour limit?

I run a business and I can not have MtGox locking up my money. Some of the other bitcoin dealers I have had conversations with have described their experiences with MtGox basically saying that no matter what paper work you provide showing the legality of your business, MtGox is incredibly stubborn in terms of resolving money holding issues like this.

MtGox right now seems to be my only reliable option with a good market depth, but they are also incredibly unreliable from the things I have heard about them. It is simply not an option for me to have money locked up by them.

One of my local customers I get every so often, buys about $3000 worth of bitcoins for trading. With Tradehill I have always been able to get her the bitcoins she paid for within a few hours. How would you feel if you gave $3000 to someone only to have them tell you that a Japanese company has made their money unaccessiable? I have a business to run and an Image to uphold....This is how I make my living.

Cryptox does not have a deep enough market depth for the amount of business I get.

Intersango has the 2nd highest market depth now and they won't give you a hassle with paperwork.

SealsWithClubs poker room has  over 400 players online. Buy in from .01 to 60btc.      BTCSportsMatch lets you bet sports with vig free lines!  Best kept secret in bitcoin....          LocalBitcoins.com is very user-friendly now for bank transfers.  You don't have to live close to trade when in the same currency area.
Electrum client is awesome. Try it. And please stop sending bitcoins to sites run by security newbies, or don't complain when you lose everything.
