The Bitcoin software, network, and concept is called "Bitcoin" with a capitalized "B". Bitcoin currency units are called "bitcoins" with a lowercase "b" -- this is often abbreviated BTC.

Galaxy S i am glad to see even cellphones can get some coin. this is the true sign of a fairly distributed currency. as the infrastructure comes in stages, value will rise over time. just.. backup your wallet.. and dont lose ur fone. if ur lucky in 2 years those 2 minerals will be worth $2000. this is being optimistic of course, so do whatever u think is best for you.

well it doesn't seem like Mintpal lists us tomorrow If the voting rate persists I'll release betting, anon and even something else until we actually get to the top of the voting list. We are on Schedule with the betting feature? What would be the next milestones? How will this betting feature work? Simply put, dev thought about establishing rounds gradually within the games, where people would bet against each others; for say early game bettors, mid game betters, late game bettors (maybe even more subdivided); and each of the rounds having their own separate prizes. More details were given by dev here : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=641057.msg7440845#msg7440845Limiting Minerals to Starcraft games is too narrow-minded. Just set up between between 2 players. Parameters and contracts. Feedback system or a Judge to enforce bet. (Escrow) Disclaimer: Betting may be illegal in your local area. Please consult your local laws before proceeding. May be problems in the future like offshore gambling.

We are on Schedule with the betting feature? What would be the next milestones? How will this betting feature work? There are two models of betting. The first model integrated to the wallet for simple betting It looks like this and we are testing it There are two options 1) Bet on the next game - This mode is good if you are playing with friends and want to bet on a next game. This way you are betting on your own skill. 2) Bet on the following game - This mode is designed for mass betting that can happen on twitch.tv. For example: some streamer plays ladder games and many people are watching him. Some of these people would like to bet if the streamer will win or lose his games. But the problem is that we have to prevent betting on the game that is already being played (since we don't want those who waged early lose to those who are waging later as they know more about this particular game). But there's no way of knowing (we haven't discovered one yet) if the game has started. We only know if the game has ended. So the waging goes on the following game until current game has ended. This is not a big deal since it usually takes up to 1 minute for a streamer to requeue for the next game First model may be used for LOL, Dota 2, WoW arena or any other popular game that provide stats that are accessible through some kind of API so we can determine who played the game and what was the outcome The second model of betting designed for large tournaments with real time betting option for maximum excitement I was explaining how it works in my previous posts. This model may be widely used for any kind of tournaments and championships (this includes e-sports and "real" sports)

Interesting concepts. The in-wallet betting would be amazing but I assume it would be much harder to pull off development-wise. Would it be viable to have both options, both the web based one and the wallet integrated one some time down the road? I would say launch the web based betting platform first if anything, and then move on to the in-wallet system if there is demand for it.

Truth be told, both models are web based The one that's in wallet is just a web page that is opened in a frame. We thought about integrating it to the wallet completely but it would take more time and effort. We'll keep it as frame for now and see how it goes

Should be much easier to implement then.

This is absolutely FANTASTIC. This dev is very promising. Actually, for the first time, I am not giving a crap about the price. I am loving the fun of this betting feature. Eagerly awaiting for its release.
