Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

Aeon really burned me . I lost more than half of my investment. Luckily it was a small amount  Actually this was my first investment ever without knowing what it is all about. What does make Aeon special wrt to other anon coins like Dash or Monero ? Or is it just a copy ? |

Yes Monero is open source so anyone can take its code and put it in AEON, but it still needs manpower to do it. It will not jump by itself. |

Web front end needed restart  All good now! This happens a few times a week, I believe it is due to invalid requests by internet robots that are looking for website information that is used in validating google (and other search engines) searches. Thanks for letting me know. Sent you a PM as well |

The pruning version runs pretty easily in 2 GB and I've been told people have used it in 1 GB. Less memory usage is coming. |
