@sammy007. If you rate Aeon's chances from 1 to 10 that it can follow in Monero's success, what would it be? I am a loyal bagholder, but sometimes I am thinking that there is a time to start letting it go.

I believe that 5-10% of monero price for AEON is quite possible. My sentiment for XMR price is ~500-800 USD.

i did it 1st time to check - sent 1 aeon, all was good money came

then I sent the rest of the balance and.. I got nothing

Before transferring from your wallet, run the "print_cn" command in the daemon first to make sure your connected properly.

It is only possible to reach that valuation if smooth delivers what was planned in the roadmap. I am still confident he can but it will take a longer time that expected since he is the only developer working on the project.

I hope smooth finds someone worthy enough to help him.

Not sure I understand the rationale for a post about buying aeon on Bittrex when their wallet is disabled. Has that changed?

Aeon has been around awhile and like Monero, it has had its share of problems.

You just have to know the history of a thing.

I feel comfortable that Smooth and his trusty sidekick (and I hope a few others) will sort this out.

When the sorting is complete, this coin could see some level of parity with Monero.

In the meantime, prices might be suppressed and create a buying opportunity.

When Poloniex allowed Bytecoin trading again, the gas pedal was applied for a bit.

But I'm an optimist.

There are several AEON miners for GPU, check out the Getting Started tab on any pool websites.

Yes, you can mine with GPU. The cryptonote algorithm (light or not) isn't much more efficient on GPU though. CPU, with it's local L2/L3 cache can go nearly as fast (assuming it's something recent) and let your GPU mine something else that can take advantage of the parallelism.

Someone should tell that blogger to advice everyone to use HitBTC for now. We do not want newbies to have their coins trapped in Bittrex because Aeon withdrawals and deposits are not allowed over there until the code rebase is released.
