Bandwidth Question

If I am running three bitmining rigs each at around 2GH for a total of 6GH, how much bandwidth would they use in one month? The reason I ask is I use a 4G service that gives me 5GB a month and I want to make sure I am not going to go over that limit.

You should have no problem staying under that limit. Mining uses barely any bandwidth. Although why do run your rigs off 4g?

The reason is that the location where I am putting these machines I don't have to pay for electricity, but don't have a readily available internet connection. I do have I 4G LTE account with verizon that I only use when I travel which is a couple days a month. The rest of the time the service doesn't get used so if I could use it as the internet connection for these servers then I wouldn't have to worry about getting another internet connection for that location.

As long as they are only mining it should work fine but keep in mind that if you lose connection at all it will stop your mining. I suggest just keeping an eye on it and check your data regularly for the first month. It should work fine but better be safe than sorry!

Very low bandwidth. I doubt if it exceeds 1gb.

You can try to setup one as the client and have that client feed to the other mining rigs so that it only downloads the block chain once. Thats how mine is setup and i barely notice that issue.

I thought that mining doesn't need to download the blockchain? Unless you're mining solo, that is. For pooled mining, you're essentially sending a couple of kilobytes per second only, hence going over 5GB would be nearly impossible unless you have a mining farm.
