Mt. Gox got a National Security Letter. They can't tell anyone but they can hint at it. I'll let you figure out what it means.

Wandering Albatross is talking out of his ass and smearing FUD on the walls again. Do you have any supporting evidence whatsoever? Why you gotta be so paranoid, bro?

Previously MtGox did not have a posted Terms of Service (and I don't think Privacy Policy either). They are informing their customers what the terms will be before they go into effect.  This is a reputable business practice.

Money transfer laws are very strict.  Bitcoins are not clearly defined as money yet, but the dollars that are exchanged for them are.  Therefore, to be a longstanding, stable pillar of the Bitcoin world, MtGox is being smart and complying with international banking regulations.

"Unless Mt. Gox gives it express prior consent, other websites may only link to the Platform by using the following address: https://mtgox.com/, to the exclusion of any deep link."

That's a weird rule.  It's under Intellectual Property and Linking on https: //mtgox.com/terms_of_service (space added so it is not a link Tongue)
