Windows Defender Security Center (running on Windows 10) just popped up a warning about a Trojan in Electrum-3.0.0-setup.exe.

Quote
Trojan:Win32/Tiggre!plock

Alert level: Severe
Status Quarantined
Date: 11/7/2017

Recommended action: Remove threat now.

Category: Trojan
Details: This program is dangerous and executes commands from an attack...

Affected items:
  file: C:\Users\klinker\Downloads\Electrum-3.0.0-setup.exe

This warning would have been more timely when I installed Electrum 3.0.0 last week.

Limited in number. Limitless in potential.

I encountered this issue also and windows defender always detected it as malware and auto uninstall the program, so I tried to check their twitter page (@ElectrumWallet)
And I saw that there's a new version which is 3.0.1 released so I recommend that you should uninstall the previous version and install the latest one.
