There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

Hurry up, it's two weeks left

SegWit signaling begins two weeks. It starts at 0:00 AM (UTC) on April 1.

· Users who do not use core wallet of Fujicoin do not need to do anything.
· Coinomi, electrum-FJC, Web wallet are safe.
· Cryptopia, Bleutrade, Nova exchange are safe.
· Official pools, CLYPTOGRINDER pool are safe.
· The safety of YoBit exchange, LA pool are not confirmed at present.

Users of Fujicoin-2.0 (v0.8.6.2):

· Users who are using for self-mining should move to the official pool.
You can not mine blocks after locking SegWit.
· Other users should switch to lightweight wallet (Coinomi, electrum-FJC).
The old core wallet is highly likely to get into dysfunction.

Users of v0.15.1:

· Please update to v 0.15.2 for safety.

Miners using v.0.15.2 or Pools:

Please increase the hash rate after April 1st. By locking SegWit it is possible to kill the miners who are mining with v0.8.6.2. You can take away their share.

The opening of the new pool is conducive to the mining people, and the project needs to be constantly updated to attract more people.

new pool for FJC

New pools are steadily mining Fujicoin.
The crypto currency should be decentralized.
We ask all of you to cooperate in decentralization.

Hello,
Glad to see that motty still develop FujiCoin, but I think that so many alts at the moment on the market and unfortunately I don't see future for the FujiCoin due lack of innovations.

There are many crypto currencies, but I think that really innovative coins are very few.
Most of ICO's tokens and smart contracts that are recently in fashion will disappear without being able to achieve results.
A pure currency like Fujicoin never tells a lie. The essence of currency is trust, not innovation. So I think that pure currency will live longer.
Fujicoin will follow after Bitcoin. Fujicoin will do this if lightning network and atomic swap are realized.  Smiley

I agree, most of these new tokens are cash grabs, with fujicoin following bitcoin code tightly it will have the advatages of new tech that bitcoin gets like lightning network.  Keep up the good work motty

SegWit 's signaling has started for a week.
Current share of the old and new cores can be confirmed from the following link.
http://www.fujicoin.org/consensus.php
Peers connected to the mother node can be checked from the following link.
http://www.fujicoin.org/node.php
More than one month has elapsed since the start of the announcement, but there are still a lot of people using the old core.
We recommend that you move to the new core as soon as possible.

Ok...I'm kinda new here....this coin has been around since June 2014.....give me a run down on WHY anyone thinks this coin is going anyplace..(feel free to use unicorns and charts)

I just don't see it

especially at current price/status

NOT A SLAM ...but tell me WHY I am incorrect in my assumptions...willing to listen..but damn, just can't see it...all I see is quicksand and sinkage.....Sad

Hi linkybit,

Fujicoin 3.0 core wallet synchronization is much faster than 2.0. I think that it will synchronize around 5 hours. If you use the database provided by Official (Fujicoin-3.0-DB-txi0-180208.zip), it will synchronize in about 30 minutes.

Fujicoin listed on BarterDEX exchange
BarterDEX is a decentralized exchange implementing cross-chain atomic swaps technology. BarterDEX is currently in BETA phase of development. DEX is expected as a next-generation exchange. Let's pay attention.  Smiley

This looks like a good project that has a real life application! Went through your article and I have to admit it is well detailed and describes very well the token sale and distribution process

It is three days left until the signaling of SegWit starts. Signaling starts on April 1, AM 0: 00 (UTC).
The condition of SegWit lock is that 1512 blocks out of the latest 2016 blocks become new version. The 2016 block corresponds to 33.6 hours. SegWit will be locked if the new core's hash rate exceeds 75% of the total in this period.
Miners on fujicoin pools or new core v0.15.2 should cooperate with SegWit lock.  Wink

Huh There is no token sale because this isnt a token.  New coins are generating via pow mining.  Are you sure you read it right?
