That auto-complete tip isn't so useful these days thanks to modern browsers having an integrated search facility, or the URLs of sites from history filtered when typing.

Thanks for sharing anyway!

Interview with the young hacker:

Softpedia: This is a question I ask all hackers. What is the significance of your hacker name and why did you choose this name?
S3rver.exe: I choose this name, s3rver.exe, because I really like Botnets and Rats and when you create a RAT Server it comes out as server.exe. That’s how I choose that name. Server.exe is also a malicious virus.

Softpedia: When and why did you start hacking?
S3rver.exe: I started hacking when I was 11. Botnets and Rats inspired me and then a friend introduced me to SQL injection and other hacking stuff.
Basically, I started hacking because I saw many videos and news around the world about hacking and then I also wanted to learn. I made heaps of Internet friends and they taught me some tricks.
And I guess hacking is my type because I really like computers and I want to get a job in computing.

Softpedia: Which was the most important site you breached, or the most important operation you were part of
S3rver.exe: I have breached the Administrator of usa.gov yesterday. That was fun. I went through the directories and stuff. Me and my friend Sterlok breached the security.
Then I did a live deface on UFC.com and UFC.tv. The live deface was on Tinychat. I was sharing my screen and people were watching me deface.
Now I have XSS'ed OPOA, which is the Oakland Police website. I am going to release their stuff soon.
So those were really important to me.

Using RATs are no big deal, programming them is the real thing. If this kid programmed the RAT by himself then he is pretty clever.

Fact of the Day:

This 12 year old cute little kid is a hacker!
Yup, he's the youngest hacker in the world. But don't get deceived by his size, this guy has hacked 9 NASA computers!!! His name is s3rver.exe (this is not his real name, of course! ), and he is a very mischievous black hat hacker. He leaves a message after he hacks any computer- "S3rver.exe was here"!

So this is where all my btc went to. Cheesy

A great shortcut that I have learned lately that I have much use of is ctrl-shift T. It opens up a tab that you recently closed, either by accident or cause you thought you didn't need it anymore. As far as I know it works on both Chrome and FF, not sure about IE.

It depends if you are caught. Most often consequences are not positive, but sometimes they are. Back in the 90's in many countries there were simply no laws regarding hacking, so you could simply hack servers and get away with it. All the old day tricks worked, XSS and what not. Nowadays there's all this legal stuff;

I will share more but I'm thinking about creating other thread to discuss the Tricks shared here and keep this one clean and straight Tip Tricks and Facts thread.
Or Turn this one into Discussion Thread as This is not Self Moderated and already has some posts which are not straight Tips Tricks or Facts posts.

Start + Tab changes windows on Windows 7 but what is Shift + Tab?
Tab takes further shift+tab takes you backward.
In this case ctrl+tab while using on a browser will take you to the next tab on right while hitting ctrl+shift+tab will take you to the tab on the left.

good idea, lol... but when the cryptos turn out to be a scam then it's useless unless we can control which cryptos to mine
Cryptos turn out scam ..? ??if you are talking about btc,  I'll just ask ,  do you even know what you are talking about.? that doesn't make any sense. a Decentralized protocol can't turn scam, although people involved with it might

Trick for the day
Easy Steps to Change your IP in less than a minute.
Here is the 10 most easy quick step method to change the IP address by changing the properties in LAN (Local Area Netwok).
Step 1:
Click on "Start"---> "Run"
Then Type in "command" or "cmd" and hit OK or press ENTER.

Step 2:
In the Command Prompt also known as "MS-DOS" prompt just type "ipconfig /release" & Hit Enter.
Type "exit" and leave the
prompt

Step 3:
Right-click on "Network Places" or "My Network Places" ---> Click on "properties" .Then Right click on "Local Area Connection"--->Click
"properties"

Step 4:
Now click on the "Internet Protocol (TCP/IP)" from the list under the "General" tab

Step 5: Click on "Use the following IP address" under the "General" tab
BINGOOO,,,,!!! Now you can type in your own IP address .

Step 6:
Now Press "Tab" and it should automatically fill in the "Subnet Mask" section with default numbers.

Step 7:
Hit the "Ok" button twice and you are now back to the "Local Area
Connection" screen.

Step 8:
Now Right-click back on "Local Area Connection" and go to properties again.

Step 9:
Go back to the "TCP/IP" settings
Now , Select "Obtain an IP address automatically"

Step 10:
Hit "Ok" twice again

NOTE: You now have a new IP address However it only changes your
dynamic IP address and not not your ISP/IP address.
Hope you enjoyed this post,,,!!! Cheers,,,!!!

NOTE:If you have queries or any related post to this topic I request you to pls Post them on link below: All other Posts will be deleted

Absolutely wrong on so many levels.

Step 1 and 2 are totally unneeded.
Step 3 could be shortened to just running ncpa.cpl as a command. Also, they might be using wireless rather than hardwared.
Step 4 should specify that you're modifying IPv4.
Step 5: Congratz! You've actually got something right here. Except you gave absolutely no hints on what address to type. Yeah, your tutorial forgot to mention anything related to DNS. As soon as you click that box, you MUST enter something for your DNS servers as you can no longer automatically obtain them via DHCP.
Step 6: Wrong on so many levels. There's a thing called "subnetting" and a subnet mask is actually useful. Say I had a 10.1.10.0/24 network, right? Well, default subnet mask is 255.0.0.0. The correct subnet mask for that network is 255.255.255.0. What does this mean? It means if a webserver is on another internal network that's not behind your router, you'll never be able to reach it as the subnet mask says the address is local.
Step 7: Yay! You configured a static IP address. Please tell me that's ALL this tutorial was? Cause if so, you literally can do it in like 5 seconds via CMD / powershell.
Step 8: Wait what? Why!?
Step 9: Are you fucking kidding me? You're setting it back to a dynamic IP address? Are you retarded. If so, you could have done step 1, typed "ipconfig /release && ipconfig /renew" and you're fucking done.
Step 10: No, just no.

Discussion Thread for Computer Tips, Tricks and Facts

That's a third party site. Therefore, you are technically opening yourself to a lot of vulnerabilities by using some random site on the internet to download files.

So far the tips, tricks, and facts thread has been rather useless in giving any sort of knowledge.
