I was wondering how many rockminer r-box miners can I connect to a raspberry pi. I noticed that eyeboot.com has a 49 port usb hub, can i hook up 49 rockminers.

Thank you that somewhat helped. The main thing i was wondering though is if the cgminer program on the raspberry pi would recognize more than ten miners at a time.

Cgminer does not use com ports so is only limited by how many USB devices your hub and operating system will support. Usually the maximum number of devices is 127, though there are various operating system workarounds that allow you to go past this.

does that include the limit of 24 usb devices on the raspberry pi. i think 24 on the pi is the maximum

Windows can easily support 49 miners if you use the Eyeboot.com hub. Eyeboot have a special offer on the 49 port hub at the moment that ends in September so i suggest you buy now.

Seems quite cheap. I guess it means the days of USB stick mining are over and they have a lot of surplus stock.
