You would probably offend a large portion of the USA with that slogan. Probably not the best idea for promotion techniques.

The USD is not backed by "Gold".

You're right.  It isn't.

I originally said "The USD is not backed by God" :S What is going on here?!

Lojban is geekier than Latin, and more related to computers as well, and it was created with crossing borders in mind

And what makes Lojban superior to any other language besides noone speaks it Wink? Why not Klingon, Esperanto, Soresol or even Lingua Ignota?

I don't want to bash Lojban. It is very interesting by itself, but i don't see a reason what makes it special for our purpose here.

The benefit of Latin is, that a lot of people understand it and it is to some extend associated with old sigils and emblems - in the western World. Elsewhere my point is pointless. Therefore I proposed an iconographic language. But I don't see that Lojban is reasonably common anywhere in the world.

My suggestion: "E Pluribus Pecuniam" (Out of Many, [the] Money).

Sorry to bring that from the grave.

But my question is directly related to the topic of this tread.

I would like to know if "In cryptography we trust" would be translated correctly to "In Crypto Credimus" in Latin.

I would also like to know if you think it's a good motto for Cryptocurrency in your opinion.

Thank you in advance for your inputs !
