"Xiaomi started its first flash sale in Indonesia today, selling 5,000 Redmi 1S phones.

This took a bit longer than the India sale, which sold 40,000 phones in 4 seconds.
 Xiaomi officially launched in Indonesia last week.

Looking at how similar the Redmi 1S price is in Indonesia and Singapore,

Samsung/Apple/Sony/HTC/etc took a lot of time to build the reputation they have today.

Xiaomi is already halfway there...

There are tons of chinese brands with similar specs and lower prices than Xiaomi.
