New Beta feature!!! Send SMS (GSM Text Message) to mobile phones using the MED TipBot!!!
The tariff is 300 MED for each SMS (GSM Text Message), worldwide.
To send an SMS (GSM Text Message), you need to send a Twitter Direct Message (not a status update!) to @MEDTipBot:
sendmedsms +nnnnxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Here goes the text of the sms!!!
The receiving mobile phone will receive a SMS from "MEDTipBot", with the following text:
from @yourTwitterScreenName: Here goes the text of the sms!!!
The mobile phone number must start with the international prefix (+nnnn) and must contain no spaces.
example:
+44123456789000 VALID
44123456789000 NOT VALID!
0044123456789000 NOT VALID!
To be able to send a direct message to @MEDTipBot, do the following:
a - follow @MEDTipBot (if you do not follow already 
b - post one of this commands:
#MediterraneanCoin showbalance
or
#MediterraneanCoin update
After this, you should be ready to send Twitter Direct Messages to user @MEDTipBot
Costs and limitations (beta!)
The tariff is 300 MED for each SMS!!!

Wow! It is an exciting app! hi, smallplatf, could you please develop TipBot System and Send SMS for weibo.com (新浪微博)? You know there are more and more Chinese guys focus MED, but they can not visit Twitter bicoz the Great Fire Wall. If you dev it, then our MED official Weibo ( http://weibo.com/medchina) could be cooler than other coins including Bitcoin and Dogecoin!  We know MED dev is the great! |

What are you doing? What are you working on? are you still pursuing MED? Look at Reddcoin they have an inferior tipbot but an active dev and they are taking off now. Created around the same time as med also.

When we will see instruction for weibo ? i send from twitter 50 MED to jjkosby@weibo ....... and weibo showbalance say 1 MED  how work ? also what happens if person who receive tip (i send tip to him) don't have active tipbot address - on twitter-twitter, weibo-weibo, twitter-weibo ? weibo->twitter work or not ? |

twitter-twitter and weibo-weibo: if the user does have a tipbot address (or has not yet used the tipbot), the amount is reserved for him until he uses it! |

MediterraneanCoin JSON-RPC address Lookup service
We are testing our new MediterraneanCoin JSON-RPC address Lookup service!
with this service, apps and users can lookup MediterraneanCoin address associated to users on Twitter, Weibo... all the platforms supported by the tipbot.
We plan to integrate the MediterraneanCoin address lookup in the wallet! In this way, when sending MED to a user, you can directly write his Weibo or Twitter username! Voilà!

the new MediterraneanCoin Wallet v0.8.7.2 integrated with MediterraneanCoin Tipbot is now here! https://github.com/mrtexaznl/mediterraneancoin/releases/tag/v0.8.7.2This release of the wallet implements the integration with Twitter and Weibo Tipbot system for MediterraneanCoin. When sending MED to a user, you can type the username in the "Label" field, choose the platform to search (Twitter or Weibo are the supported platforms, at the moment) and click on the Lookup button. If the user has previously used the tipbot on the specified platform, then his/her MED address will be displayed in the "Pay To" textbox. The integration works as follows: In the Send form, in the Label field, type the name of the user to whom you want to send MED. Choose the platform (Twitter or Weibo).  Then click on the new button near the Weibo/Twitter drop down list. The wallet queries the tipbot system for the MED address of that user; if the user has previously used the tipbot, than his MED address is shown in the "Pay To:" field, and you can send MED to the user!  |
