This will be such a good news, i dotn know why miners or miner companies keep wannting to be at gigahash, like if they would receive a reward being there.

Yea ghash is lower. But again, I believe many people here would agree with me, that this is not a big threat. Ghash would have to have malicious intent. 51% just increases the likely of getting the next block (not messing with previous blocks).

and if they did do malicious double spends, everyone would take notice (most likely mining elsewhere). Pools might join to combat etc. And I think ghash would not attempt this.
