Quick question that probably doesn't have a definitive answer but, How many mining pools are there worldwide now roughly compared to 2/3 years ago?

Don;t know how up to date but the pools startup dates are in there.
Schools should start teaching How to Search... Google > 'Bitcoin  pools' > read/click...

But why search, when you can ask the question and have someone else do all the work for you.  Tongue

The best part is when people answer them and they never even post a thank you

I appreciate this but I had already found these. They only show a select amount of mining pools whereas I am looking for a definitive list of them which is proving difficult to find.

Seems to me that it shouldn't be too hard to find pools and compile a more accurate listing.  Most pools do want to be found.

A: Because it messes up the order in which people normally read text.
Q: Why is top-posting such a bad thing?
A: Top-posting.
Q: What is the most annoying thing on usenet and in e-mail?
