What happens, when the Scrypt algorhythm is "destroyed" by the new ASICs (from the sight of GPU miners)?. Is a next algo only for CPU/GPU planned, which will then be used for the most coins? I heard, that the algo from Quark, Protoshares etc. is now compatible with GPUs. Will the next coins use this algorhythm for mining, or another?. The reason is: I'm thinking about buying an HD 7950, but when the ASICs for Scrypt are available, the card could become "worthless" for mining.
Sounds like you have the wrong thread. This if I'm not mistaken isnt scrypt and the coin is dead and therefor worthless for anything. |

Sounds like you have the wrong thread. This if I'm not mistaken isnt scrypt and the coin is dead and therefor worthless for anything. Past before its time was due... |

seems I missed something here. I still have some XCR. Is there a way to convert them to LISK? Or a working exchange? At least a working blockchain?

Check the coinmarketcap for exchanges you can trade at. It was not to long ago delisted from poloniex and before that you had a lot of time to trade in for lisk. Them days are gone IM AFRAID. |
