thanks.
something that might be useful is a how-to guide for how to best "forge." because your rewards systems is so unique, i'm very unsure how best to maximize my potential forging.
Either myself or another member of the team will draft up a guide for this prior to launch and publish it. We will explain the forging process, how weight is awarded, and walk through how to get a node set-up using services like Digital Ocean. It will be part of a "Getting Started" sort of guide that we will post closer to launch. that's great. thanks. +1

As per my rough calculation from the ledger data -
Top 50 accounts hold 57% of the total BTC collected - 425 out of 750
Thanks for sharing the calculation. Imho it's a quite healthy initial distribution, and together with 450+ total buyers, will give a good kick-start to further Crypti expansion. Distribution is awesome, way better then in most other currencies after months. Do you know how many 15 btc investors?

7 in total, the accounts in ledger are sorted according to amount of Crypti they hold (and hence, how much they had invested): http://crypti.me:2159/

Just so I fully understand the over the cap stuff, if we invested a certain amount and it was after they already reached the cap, we are put on a waiting list ... basically waiting to see if anyone decides to sell their stake back? How long before we get a refund on that amount?
I put 1 btc into it, so not a whole lot, but only half made it in time, apparently. Just wondering when I'd either get the extra btc back, or the waiting list time ends.

Important poll!We have the opportunity to enable trading on Bter very soon, thus allowing a safe trading for the CRSALE holders, and a buying chance for these who haven't made it into the pre-sale period. Please read carefully and vote / post your opinion here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=708720.0Thanks!

The new poll and announcement is the one I was referring to earlier. Please read the announcement carefully and make an informed decision. We need to get a consensus and want your opinion on whether or not we should go this route. This is a big decision and one that has an impact on all of us so please vote! You can leave your thoughts, concerns, and critiques in the other thread and we will try to answer them in a timely manner! https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=708720.0

Wasn't the timeline proposed like about a week more for the wallet, and an exchange in August? Are people so impatient as far as trading goes that they can't wait a couple of weeks?
I guess I just find it odd that pre-trading placeholder shares is being discussed, when I assume the actual coin being released onto an exchange isn't that far away to begin with. It's not like NEM or ETHER, that may take half a year or so until a real release.

The date right now is still August 10th for the release of the wallet and main net.

Release on 10 August, we will not move it. But i have seen a lot of members who bought in pre-sale and after want to sell it with profit, and members who not had time to buy in pre-sale and want to buy now.

In addition to the new poll and announcement in regards to early trading, we should also have an announcement and new draft of the Crypti Foundation Charter available very soon.
We have a quasi finalized internal version that we would like to post and get your feedback on prior to implementing the final draft.
Once the final draft is ready and posted, we will begin the nomination and election process for the additional board members.
Stay tuned for this announcement hopefully soon! (Just trying to keep everyone updated!)

The date right now is still August 10th for the release of the wallet and main net. And exchange shortly thereafter? If so, the pre-trading stuff would seem sort of unnecessary to me. Basically it's like pretrade in a week, or wait 2-3 weeks and trade the real coin? Might as well just wait.

If we do not institute the pre-trading, then trading will go live through BTER on August 10th or very shortly thereafter. BTER has already agreed to initiate trading at launch and function as our first exchange (although we are working on additional exchanges as well).

Main thing in PoT that nodes who forge must support network. 1 node - 1 IP. When your start wallet, you can write your passphrase and start forging.
In anyway, you can use some free servers/clouds for nodes (heroku) apps for forging.
Ok yeah just have to rewrite things... I could just use droplets on a cloud server thanks.

Right so a Digital Ocean Droplet will work... I'm guessing it must be a static IP, With a specific listening port?

I've noticed that CRYPTI ticker has received quite a lot of votes - please note that quite a lot of exchanges support only tickers in length of 4 characters, which makes CXX more compatible.
